Abstract

Ein Scharnier (10) mit wenigstens einer Scharnierachse umfasst ein als Scharnierarm (12) ausgebildetes erstes Scharnierteil, welches drehbar mit einem zweiten Scharnierteil (27) verbunden ist, wobei der Scharnierarm (12) im wesentlichen einen U-förmigen Querschnitt aufweist, wobei die U-Schenkel mit ihrem freien Ende zum Möbel weisen und an den freien Schenkeln, seitlich in einer Ebene parallel zum Möbel abgewinkelte Befestigungsflansche (28) angeordnet sind. Der im wesentlichen U-förmige Querschnitt an den zum Möbel weisenden freien Enden des Scharnierarmes (12) ist aufgespreizt, so dass der Querschnitt im wesentlichen trapezförmig verläuft, wobei an dem den Befestigungsflanschen (28) gegenüberliegenden freien Enden des Scharnierarmes (12) der trapezförmige Querschnitt einen kontinuierlichen Übergang (38) zu parallelen U-Schenkeln aufweist. Ferner ist mindestens eine Scharnierachse (14, 16) im Bereich dieser parallelen U-Schenkel ausgebildet und die sich gegenüberliegenden Schenkel des trapezförmigen Querschnittbereiches sind in der Weise uneben, dass sie bombiert ausgebildet sind. Dadurch lässt sich das Scharnier (10) einfach verstellen.
