Definitions
- the present invention relates to a tool holder for a hand-held power tool - in particular a hammer drill and / or chisel hammer - which can be driven in a striking and / or rotating manner and has a basic body with a receiving bore for a tool shaft with at least one recess, with at least one in the recess of the basic body
- Tool shaft lockable locking body is mounted radially displaceably, which is operatively connected to a sliding sleeve resiliently mounted in the axial direction, so that when the sliding sleeve moves against the spring force, the locking body escapes from the receiving bore.
- Such a tool holder is known for example from EP 0 618 031 B1.
- the locking body is designed either as a ball or as a roller, which is slidably mounted in a guide track that runs obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the basic body.
- the guideway has a circular cross section adapted to the ball.
- a roller can be mounted, which has the shape of an elongated ball in the longitudinal direction of the guideway.
- Such a tool holder is more suitable for use with lighter rotary hammers ( ⁇ 5 kg).
- the invention is based on the object of specifying a tool holder of the type mentioned at the outset, which has an automatic tool locking mechanism of high stability, so that it can also be used for heavy rotary and / or chisel hammers.
- the locking body is a bolt extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the base body, and that a first guide track for the bolt is let into the base body, which in the direction of displacement of the sliding sleeve is inclined outwards from the receiving bore out that a second guide track for the bolt is embedded in the sliding sleeve, which runs radially outward from the receiving bore of the base body and that both guide tracks are arranged in relation to one another so that when the sliding sleeve moves against a spring force, the pin simultaneously in the first guide track and in the second guide track to the outside slides.
- An abutment for a compression spring acting on the sliding sleeve can be fixed on the base body, the abutment advantageously forming a radial support for the sliding sleeve. If the abutment surrounds the base body in a ring, this creates a dust seal between the base body and the sliding sleeve resting on the outer edge of the abutment.
- the sliding sleeve preferably has cutouts in two opposite wall areas, which form the second guide track for the locking pin and into which the two ends of the locking pin protrude. At both ends of the locking bolt there may be stops which secure the locking bolt against axial movement.
- the basic body in the area surrounded by the sliding sleeve has two parallel flats on which two parallel side walls of the sliding sleeve lie and that the recesses forming the second guide track are arranged in these two parallel side walls.
- a protective cap which covers part of the sliding sleeve, is advantageously arranged on the base body, the area of the sliding sleeve covered by the protective cap is provided with a marking that shows whether the sliding sleeve has assumed its starting position when the tool is inserted into the mounting hole of the base body, which it only reaches when the locking pin m has correctly engaged the recess in the tool shaft.
- FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a tool holder
- Figure 2 shows a cross section A-A through the tool holder.
- FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a tool holder 1, the basic body 3 with a receiving bore 5 for a tool 7, z. B. has a drill or chisel.
- the basic body 3 is wedged at its end opposite the opening for the tool 7 by means of a plurality of bolts 9 distributed around the circumference with a hammer tube 11 of a hand-held power tool, shown in detail.
- the Hand machine tool can have an axially movable hammer tube 11, in which a firing pin 13 is mounted, and a rotary drive for the hammer tube 11.
- the hammer tube 11 is shown in the working mode above the longitudinal axis and in the idle mode below the longitudinal axis.
- Working mode means that the tool 7 is placed on the object to be machined and the hammer tube 11 is pushed back by the pressure of the tool 7 on the firing pin 13 in the direction of the machine.
- the tool 7 does not exert any pressure on the firing pin 13, which is why the hammer tube 11 is moved forward in the direction of the tool holder.
- the receiving bore 5 is designed as a polygonal guide (eg hexagon guide) 15 in the front area of the base body 3.
- the inside of the hammer tube 17 can be provided with a spline profile 17.
- the tool holder 1 is thus suitable for both a chisel z. B. with a hexagonal profile as well as a drill which has a spline profile for rotary driving at its shaft end.
- the latter is provided in its shank with at least one recess 19 which is limited in the axial direction and into which a locking body 21 inserted into the base body 3 can snap.
- a manually actuable sliding sleeve 23 is placed on the base body 3.
- the basic body 3 is provided in the area of the locking body 21 mounted therein on its outer circumference with a sliding surface 25 on which the sliding sleeve 23 rests and can be displaced in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the tool holder 1.
- the sliding sleeve 23 which is in operative connection with the locking body 21 has a stop at its end resting on the sliding surface 25 of the base body 3, which is formed by a protective cap 27 which is also placed on the base body and which is secured with a locking ring 29 against axial displacement on the base body 3 is fixed.
- the sliding sleeve 23 is resiliently mounted in the axial direction.
- a compression spring 31 is set, one end of which is supported on the sliding sleeve 23, at the end of the sliding sleeve, which has its stop on the protective cap 27.
- the other end of the compression spring 31 lies against an abutment 33 fixed on the base body 3.
- This abutment 33 preferably has the shape of a disk which surrounds the basic body 3 in an annular manner, on the outer edge of which the end of the sliding sleeve 23 lying opposite the protective cap 27 rests.
- the abutment 33 together with the sliding sleeve 23 forms a dust seal for the space in which the compression spring 31 is located.
- the locking body 21 has the shape of an extending transversely to the longitudinal axis direction of the tool holder Bolt with circular cross section, which is referred to below as locking pin 21.
- the locking bolt 21, which extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the base body 3, is mounted in two guide tracks 35 and 37.
- the first guideway 35 is let into the basic body 3 and extends obliquely outwards from the receiving bore 5 of the basic body 3 in the direction of displacement of the sliding sleeve 23. This means that this first guideway 35 enables the locking pin 21 to move in the axial and radial directions relative to the longitudinal axis of the tool holder 1.
- the second guide track 37, in which the locking pin 21 is also movably mounted, is let into the sliding sleeve 23.
- This second guide track 37 is also adapted to the diameter of the locking pin 21 and extends purely in the radial direction out of the receiving bore 5 of the base body 3.
- the two guide tracks 35 and 37 are thus arranged with respect to one another in such a way that the locking pin 21 can move simultaneously in both guide tracks 35, 37.
- the cross-hatched area 39 of the base body 3 in FIG. 1, in which the guide track 35 for the locking bolt 21 is located, has a greater radial extent than the remaining part of the base body 3. As a result, the guide track 35 is completely surrounded by material in order to give the base body 3 the greatest possible stability in the area of the locking bolt 21.
- FIG. 2 a cross section AA through the tool holder 1 is shown in FIG. It can be seen in FIG. 2 that the base body 3 has two flats 41 and 43 running parallel to one another in the area 39. On the sliding sleeve 23 two parallel side walls 45 and 47 are formed, which on the previously mentioned flats 41 and 43 rest on the basic body 3. With this arrangement, the sliding sleeve 23 receives a defined position on the basic body 3 and there is a rotational driving for the sliding sleeve 23 with the rotating basic body 3.
- the locking pin 21 protrudes with its two ends over the first guideway 35 in the through the two flats 41 and 43 limited basic body 3.
- the ends of the locking bolt 21 projecting beyond the first guideway 35 in the basic body 3 extend into recesses 49 and 51 in the two side walls 45 and 47 of the sliding sleeve 23. These two recesses 49 and 51 form the second guide track 37 for the locking pin 21. So that the locking pin 21 cannot slip out of the two guide tracks 35 and 37 in the direction of its longitudinal axis, stops 53 and 55 are provided at both ends of the locking pin, which are extend laterally of the recesses 49 and 51. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the stops 53 and 55 are formed on the protective cap 27, which partially covers the sliding sleeves 23.
- the area 59 of the sliding sleeve 23 covered by the protective cap 27 is provided with a marking (for example a color marking).
- a marking for example a color marking. This marking makes it visible whether the sliding sleeve 23 has assumed its starting position when a tool 7 is inserted into the receiving bore 5 of the base body 3, which it only reaches when the locking pin 21 is correctly engaged in the recess 19 in the tool shank. If the tool has been inserted incorrectly into the tool holder 1, the marking on the sliding sleeve 23 will be visible and make it clear to the user of the handheld power tool that he has not correctly inserted the tool 7 into the tool holder 1.
- a pictogram can also be applied to the protective cap 27 and / or the sliding sleeve 23, which clarifies whether the sliding sleeve 23 has assumed its correct position when the tool is inserted.
