Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sling according to claim 1 and uses thereof according to the claims 10-13.
  • Slings are woven from tapes or tape tubes and sewn and made so that an endless loop is created.
  • These loops have the disadvantage that they must have a large thickening at the seam in order to obtain the required standard strengths.
  • the fabrics must be constructed with very high strengths and woven to compensate for the seam loss at the seam.
  • a certain width or thickness of the strip material paired with the strength of the materials used must be woven in weft and warp with a particular type of weave to achieve the prescribed strengths.
  • the loops should have extremely small cross-sections, minimum thickening at the seam and also low weights, above all in the sports, leisure, hobby and occupational safety area.
  • EP 281287 describes a round sling, which consists of a core, this core is formed of endless yarns as a supporting core. This core is surrounded by a jacket whose outer end surrounds the inner end. The ends are connected with a seam. In order to improve the handling of the sling, the sheath is chosen 2 - 10% shorter than the core.
  • Various production methods, including thermal treatment steps are described.
  • EP 279252 describes a method for producing a round sling, in which a scrim is pulled into two prefabricated and compressed arranged protective tube parts.
  • the scrim is formed by a plurality of thread-strand turns. After reaching the desired number of thread-strand turns of the thread strand is separated. Thereafter, the two protective tube parts are pulled apart to their original initial length and inserted their ends into one another to form an overlap. In the area of the overlap, the protective tube parts are connected together by a seam.
  • the resulting round sling thus consists of a supporting core, which is formed by the scrim, and a sewn protective tube.
  • Fig. 1 shows the view of a known sling.
  • the loop 10 consists for example of a woven band 1 and has ends 2, 2 ', which lie one above the other and are sewn together.
  • the resulting seam 3 shows an undesirable thickening, the disadvantages of which have already been described.
  • FIG. 2 shows the view of a loop according to the invention.
  • a loop 20 consists of a tubular fabric 4, respectively. a tubular fabric or knitted fabric with ends 5, 6, of which one end 5 narrower or approximately equal in size and the other end 6 is wider or approximately equal in size with respect to located between the ends, remaining tubular fabric 4.
  • the end 5 can thus in the wider, expanded present end 6 inserted or introduced, whereby a connection point 7 is formed, in the region of which the two ends are connected by at least one seam 8.
  • the joint 7 is now thinner, shorter or narrower for a given strength than is the case with conventionally overlapping ends.
  • This loop has the smallest possible cross section in the thickness / width ratio. It is suitable for attaching or carrying loads of any kind.
  • the loop is connected with fasteners, such as carabiners, hooks, eyelets, plastic parts, aluminum bars and steel pipes, hooked or parts are molded or cast on it, so that at these points the smallest possible diameter, or cross-section of the loop is present.
  • the loops are woven, knitted, braided, twisted so that at certain points they have wider cross-sections than in the other places and are in a loop shape.
  • the two ends are then brought together in a loop in endless form and are adapted in diameter, or in cross-section so that the one end finds place within the other end.
  • the sewing, welding or mechanical anchoring of the nested ends results in a significantly higher connection strength due to the doubled surface of the ends.
  • the slings are used as full slings in endless form. Slings of this type are used as slings for attaching fall protection systems, Ropes, straps, shock absorbers or used for attaching to hooks, trees, girders, iron bars and the like.
  • Fig. 3 shows a loop with narrow area.
  • the connection point 7 is according to Fig. 2 made, is flat and has an upper and a lower surface 15, 15 'on.
  • the loop on the upper and lower surfaces 15, 15 'on a 50% thinner joint 7 with smaller, smaller transition of the two ends 5, 6 than is the case with conventionally overlapping ends.
  • the junction 7 of the two nested or joined ends 5, 6 with their suturing to 2 tissues instead of one tissue has a much higher tensile force.
  • the ends 5, 6 are not necessarily made of the same material. Thus, the choice of material is to be broadly adapted to the purposes of use.
  • one end 6 is a hose and the other end 5 is an inelastic, semi-elastic, tellelastic or elastic band, the suturing of the ends having a higher tensile force and less thickening at the joint.
  • On the opposite side of the loop 20 is a narrow point 9, or a narrow area for the gentle insertion of a carabiner or the like.
  • the tubular fabric 4 is formed at least one further point in cross-section with respect to the remaining tubular fabric thinner or narrower and thereby has at least one narrow region, or a narrow point 9.
  • the tubular fabric 4 may be formed at least at one point as a band and at at least one other point as a cord, with these places in any order string together and can be connected by inserting the ends in each case.
  • Fig. 4 shows a known sling with drawstrings.
  • the loop 20 has in the tubular fabric 4 a plurality of tension strands 11, which either have an extremely high strength of materials such as polyester, Dyneema and aramid or consist of a stretchable material which has a fall-damping effect.
  • the tension cords 11 are free within the tubular fabric 4 or are partially with this connected. At the junction 7 they are sewn to the surrounding tubular fabric.
  • the tubular fabric serves as an edge and / or cut protective jacket for the tensile cords.
  • the tubular fabric 4 is elastic and the tension cords 11 are inelastic or else the tubular fabric 4 is inelastic and the tensile cords 11 are designed elastically.
  • the tubular fabric 4 consists of a combination of materials which differ in terms of elasticity, extensibility, cut resistance, tear strength and abrasion resistance, whereby an optimum of tensile strength, abrasion and cut resistance is achieved with low weight.
  • For the tubular fabric 4 is a combination of high-strength fibers of Dyneema, Kevlar, aramid, polyester and polyamide in question.
  • Fig. 5 shows a sling with narrow cross-section for attachments.
  • the loop 20 has a narrow cross-section 12, 12 'on both sides.
  • the fasteners may be fasteners, such as carabiners, eyelets, steel buckles, iron girders or similar stop or stop elements.
  • Fig. 6 shows a loop with a narrow cross-section and a wide cross-section at the junction.
  • the loop 20 has narrow cross-sections 13, 13 ', 13 "in three places, while the connection point 7 has a broad cross-section.
  • This loop is particularly suitable for attaching carabiners in three places.
  • Fig. 7 shows a first embodiment of a sling with narrow cross section (7 mm band) for hooking a carabiner and a wide cross section (19 mm tape, sewn) in the connection area.
  • the loop 20 is made of elastic or semi-elastic material, such as synthetic rubber or aramid, Dyneema, PEN (polyester), which can be stretched over a certain distance and then has a high final strength.
  • the loop has a length of 60 cm and at a 20% elongation a length of 70-80 cm.
  • the length of the loop can vary between 20 cm and a maximum of 3 m with correspondingly adapted cross sections.
  • Fig. 8 shows a second embodiment of a loop with elastic member 16th sewn high-strength.
  • the tubular fabric 4 and the elastic member 16 have the same warp threads.
  • the elastic properties result from the choice of another weft material. There is thus a different type of fabric construction or another knitted fabric in this part.
  • the inserted elastic member 16 allows a resilient connection of the inserted element within the hose end. This sling is particularly suitable for connection to slings or climbing sports equipment such as Eispickeln.
  • Fig. 9 shows a third embodiment of a sling with a narrow cross section and hinged carabiner and a wide cross-section in the connection area with Riegelvernähung.
  • the loop 20 has at the connection point 7 to a bar stitching 14, which represents only one of the many possible types of connection, which ensures high strength with low thickening at the junction.
  • Fig. 10 shows a fourth embodiment of a sling attached to a ski pole with narrow parts and elastic part sewn high-strength in the sub-area.
  • the loop 20 with tubular fabric 4, the elastic part 16 and the connection point 7 has a narrow region 9, on which a ski pole 17 is fastened.
  • the tubular fabric 4 is formed wide and serves as usual for the hand rest. This results in a resilient effect, whereby shocks are damped or the loop size is increased under train.
  • Such partially elastic, semi-elastic loops also find applications in ski and snowboard bindings.
  • Fig. 11 shows a fifth embodiment of a loop with elastic part as backpack straps.
  • the loop 20 with tubular fabric 4, the elastic part 16 and the connection point 7 has a wide area 18, which serves for shoulder support.
  • the tubular fabric 4 is connected via a narrow region 9 on the back part of a backpack 19. This sling allows a load-damping effect with high strength.
