Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schmutzsauger mit Füllstandsmessung für Flüssigkeiten nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
  • Ein herkömmlicher Schmutzsauger besteht im Wesentlichen aus einem Schmutzbehälter, mit einem dort angeordneten Entsorgungssack, in den das eine Ende eines Einlassfittings mündet, das durch die Wand des Schmutzbehälters hindurchgeht und durch den die Einlassluft angesaugt wird.
  • In an sich bekannter Weise strömt die schmutzbelastete Luft in den Innenraum des Entsorgungssackes und strömt durch ein im oberen Bereich des Schmutzbehälters angeordnetes Faltenfilter, an dem das Ansaugende einer im Oberteil angeordneten Turbine ansetzt.
  • Nachdem mit dem Schmutzsauger trockene Stäube und auch Flüssigkeiten aufgesaugt werden können, müssen beim Aufsaugen von Flüssigkeiten bestimmte Sicherheitsvorkehrungen getroffen werden.
  • Hierzu gehört die Messung des Füllstandes der aufgesaugten Flüssigkeit im Schmutzbehälter. Es ist bekannt, den Füllstand mit einem Differenzdrucksensor zu messen, der im Oberteil des Schmutzbehalters angeordnet ist und der mit einem entsprechenden Füllstandsmessrohr nach unten in den Schmutzbehälter hineinreicht (siehe z.B. US-A-3 286 444 ).
  • Der Differenzdruck wird zwischen der unteren, bodenseitigen Öffnung und dem oberen Ende des Füllstandsmessrohres noch im Bereich des Schmutzbehälters erfasst und von dem Differenzdrucksensor ausgewertet.
  • Beim Stand der Technik besteht der Nachteil, dass beim Aufsaugen von trockenem Staub sich dieser im Entsorgungssack niederschlägt und beim nachfolgenden Arbeiten mit Flüssigkeiten muss zunächst der Staub aus dem Entsorgungssack entfernt werden. Dies deshalb, um beim nachfolgenden Aufsaugen von Flüssigkeiten die Messung des Differenzdrucksensors nicht zu stören.
  • Nun hat sich herausgestellt, dass die vorherige Staubbelastung, die sich auch am Füllstandsmessrohr anlagerte, die spätere Füllstandsmessung der Flüssigkeit unmöglich machte. Der Staub drang in die Öffnungen des Füllstandsmessrohres ein und verstopfte dieses. Eine nachfolgende Füllstandsmessung war nicht mehr möglich.
  • Der Erfindung liegt deshalb die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Schmutzsauger mit Füllstandsmessung für Flüssigkeiten so weiterzubilden, dass das Füllstandsmessrohr nicht mehr von Schmutz beeinträchtigt wird.
  • Die Erfindung löst die Aufgabe nach der technischen Lehre des Anspruches 1 in der Weise, dass der untere Bereich des Füllstandsmessrohres von einem luftumspülten Schutzrohr umgeben ist.
  • Damit wird der Vorteil erreicht, dass der untere, möglicherweise im Schmutzbereich liegende Teil des Füllstandsmessrohres von einem Schutzrohr umgeben ist, das ständig von einem Luftstrom durchspült ist, so dass das Füllstandsmessrohr zuverlässig von Schmutz freigehalten wird.
  • Die Erfindung sieht zwar ebenfalls vor, dass nach dem Arbeiten mit trockenem Staub dieser zunächst aus dem Schmutzbehälter entfernt werden muß, um nachfolgend mit Flüssigkeiten zu arbeiten und deren Stand im Schmutzbehälter messen.
  • Die Erfindung stellt jedoch sicher, dass das Füllstandsmessrohr nicht mehr von Staubpartikel zugesetzt wird, weil dieses während des Arbeitens mit Staub stets aufgrund der Anordnung des luftumspülten Schutzrohres von Staubpartikeln freigehalten wird. Es besteht nicht mehr die Notwendigkeit, dass beim Übergang vom Staub- zum Flüssigkeitsbetrieb das Füllstandsmessrohr gereinigt werden muss. Damit ergibt sich eine betriebssichere und einfache Arbeit, weil die Füllstandsmessung für Flüssigkeiten nicht mehr von Staubpartikeln gestört wird, und eine Reinigung des Füllstandsmessrohres nicht mehr erforderlich ist.
  • In einer bevorzugten Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist es vorgesehen, dass das Füllstandsmessrohr etwa über ein Drittel seiner in den Schmutzbehälter hineinragenden Länge von dem erfindungsgemäß, luftdurchströmten Schutzrohr umgeben ist.
  • Nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist es im übrigen vorgesehen, dass im oberen Bereich oberhalb des Schutzrohres eine Abweisscheibe angeordnet ist. Dadurch wird vermieden, dass von oben herabfallender Staub, welcher sich auf den luftführenden Bohrungen des Schutzrohres niederschlagen könnte, nicht in die luftführenden Bohrungen eindringt.
  • Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass aufgrund der ohnedies im Schmutzbehälter vorhandenen turbulenten Luftströmung diese verwendet wird, um durch obere Bohrungen in den Mantelraum zwischen dem Innenumfang des Schutzrohres und dem Außenumfang des Füllstandsmessrohres einzudringen.
  • Die Luftströmung dringt in den Mantelraum ein, durchströmt diesen in axialer Richtung mit turbulenten Wirbeln und tritt an der Unterseite des Schutzrohres wieder aus.
  • Weil die Unterseite des Schutzrohres gegenüber der zugeordneten, zurückspringenden Öffnung des Füllstandsmessrohres in axialer Richtung verlängert ist, wird im Ergebnis diese Öffnung stets von Luftwirbeln im Mantelraum des Schutzrohres umspült, so dass mit Sicherheit verhindert wird, dass in das Füllstandsmessrohr Staub eindringt.
  • Es handelt sich um eine selbsttätige Reinigung des Außenumfanges und der unteren stirnseitigen Bohrung des Füllstandsmessrohres durch das luftdurchströmte Schutzrohr.
  • Es wird bevorzugt, wenn sich die vorher erwähnten Bohrungen im Zwischenraum unterhalb der Abweisscheibe und der Oberseite (Dachfläche) des Schutzrohres befinden, weil die Abweisscheibe dann verhindert, dass in die oberen, luftführenden Bohrungen in der Dachfläche des Schutzrohres entsprechender Staub eindringt.
  • In einer bevorzugten Ausgestaltung ist es vorgesehen, dass das Füllstandsmessrohr aus einem elastomeren Schlauch besteht, der z. B. aus einem Polyäthylen-Material besteht. Der Schlauch ist luftführend mit der einen Seite des Differenzdrucksensors verbunden, während die andere Seite in das Schutzrohr hineinragt.
  • Es wird ferner bevorzugt, wenn auch das Material des Schutzrohres aus einem elastomeren Material besteht, wie z. B. Polyäthylen, EPDM oder dgl. Ein weichelastisches Material wird deshalb bevorzugt, weil es stabiler gegen den Einfluss von Staub ist, in dem Schmutzbehälter hin und her schwingen kann und durch diese Schwingbewegungen sich selbsttätig von Staub frei hält. Außerdem wird wegen der Elastizität dieses Materials eine Anlagerung von Staub vermieden, weil sich das Material selbsttätig zurückverformt und eine entsprechende harte Anlagerung von Staubnestern verhindert.
  • Ein elastisches Material des Differenzdrucksensors und des zugehörigen Schutzrohres wird auch deshalb bevorzugt, weil beim Öffnen des Schmutzsaugers und Abnehmen des Oberteils die Füllstandsmesseinrichtung am Oberteil montiert bleibt. Das Oberteil kann dann leicht auf den Boden abgesetzt werden, wodurch sich beide Rohre der Füllstandsmessanordnung elastisch verbiegen und nicht beschädigt werden.
  • Der Erfindungsgegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ergibt sich nicht nur aus dem Gegenstand der einzelnen Patentansprüche, sondern auch aus der Kombination der einzelnen Patentansprüche untereinander.
  • Alle in den Unterlagen, einschließlich der Zusammenfassung offenbarten Angaben und Merkmale, insbesondere die in den Zeichnungen dargestellte räumliche Ausbildung, werden als erfindungswesentlich beansprucht, soweit sie einzeln oder in Kombination gegenüber dem Stand der Technik neu sind.
  • Im Folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand von lediglich einen Ausführungsweg darstellenden Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Hierbei gehen aus den Zeichnungen und ihrer Beschreibung weitere erfindungswesentliche Merkmale und Vorteile der Erfindung hervor.

  • Gemäß Figur 1 besteht der Schmutzsauger aus einem Schmutzbehälter 1, in dessen Mantelfläche ein Einlassfitting 2 mündet, das einen im Innenraum des Schmutzbehälters 1 eingesetzten Entsorgungssack 6 durchsetzt. Die Einlassluft wird in Pfeilrichtung 16 durch das Einlassfitting 2 angesaugt und strömt in Pfeilrichtung 15 in den Innenraum des Entsorgungssackes 6, wobei aus der schmutzbeladenen Luft Staub 17 ausfällt, der sich im Bodenbereich des Entsorgungssackes 6 niederschlägt.
  • Nach einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung ist es vorgesehen, dass der Entsorgungssack mindestens stellenweise, bevorzugt jedoch über seinen gesamten Bereich porös ausgebildet ist, um zu vermeiden, dass er sich unbeabsichtigt zusammen zieht.
  • Er ist im Zwischenraum zwischen dem Rand 7 und dem Oberteil 3 des Schmutzbehälters 1 aufgenommen.
    Es kann vorkommen, dass in diesen Bereich Leckluft eindringt, die in Pfeilrichtung 8 aufgrund der porösen Materialbeschaffenheit des Entsorgungssackes aus dem Zwischenraum 9 in den Innenraum des Entsorgungssackes 6 abströmt.
  • Im oberen Bereich des Schmutzbehälters 1 ist in an sich bekannter Weise ein Faltenfilter 5 angeordnet, das luftschlüssig mit dem Ansaugende einer Turbine 4 verbunden ist. Die Turbine 4 saugt die Luft durch den Faltenfilter 5 ab und entlässt diese in Pfeilrichtung 14 in das Oberteil 3.
  • Erfindungsgemäß ist eine Füllstandsmessanordnung 10 für Flüssigkeiten im Schmutzbehälter 1 angeordnet, die aus einem im Oberteil 3 angeordneten Differenzdrucksensor 11 besteht, der etwa bei Position 12 vom Luftdruck im Schmutzbehälter 1 beaufschlagt wird. Die andere Seite des Differenzdrucksensors 11 ist luftschlüssig mit einem Messrohr 19 verbunden, dessen unteres Ende bei Position 13 mit dem Luftdruck im Schmutzbehälter 1 beaufschlagt ist.
  • Wird der Schmutzbehälter 1 zunehmend mit Flüssigkeit gefüllt, steigt diese im Innenraum des Messrohres 19 an. Der zwischen Position 12 und 13 entstehende Differenzdruck beaufschlagt den Differenzdrucksensor 11, so dass dieser den Füllstand im Schmutzbehälter 1 anzeigt.
  • Bei der vorherigen Arbeit mit Staub bestand die Gefahr, dass der Staub 17 das Messrohr 19 verstopft. Hier setzt die Erfindung ein, die nach Figur 2 vorsieht, dass mindestens das untere Drittel des Messrohres 19 von einem luftdurchströmten Schutzrohr 18 umgeben ist.
  • Das Schutzrohr 18 ist luftschlüssig am Außenumfang des Messrohres 19 angeschlossen und weist eine abgeschrägte Dachfläche 24 auf, in der zugeordnete luftführende Bohrungen 33 angeordnet sind, die bevorzugt gleichmäßig am Umfang verteilt in der Dachfläche 24 angeordnet sind.
  • Die im Schmutzbehälter 1 vorhandene, turbulente Luft strömt in Form eines Zirkulationsstromes 27 in Pfeilrichtung 26 durch den Mantelraum 32 in das Schutzrohr 18 ein. Das Schutzrohr 22 wird dadurch von dem Zirkulationsstrom 27 durchsetzt. Es ist im übrigen erkennbar, dass die untere Stirnseite 20 des Messrohres 19 um einen axialen Abstand 21 hinter der unteren Stirnseite 23 des Schutzrohres 22 zurückversetzt angeordnet ist. Damit ist gewährleistet, dass der Zirkulationsstrom 27 an der offenen Stirnseite 20 des Messrohres 19 vorbeiströmt und nicht in diesem Bereich abbricht. Die Stirnseite 20 wird von Staubeinflüssen freigehalten. Sie wird vom Zirkulationsstrom 27 freigeblasen.
  • Zur zentrischen Stabilisierung der Lage des Messrohres 19 im Schutzrohr 18 sind radiale, abstandshaltende Stege 34 vorgesehen, die das Messrohr 19 im zentrischen Innenbereich des Schutzrohres 18 halten.
  • Um zu vermeiden, dass Schmutzpartikel in die oberen Bohrungen 33 am Schutzrohr 18 eintreten, ist eine Abweisscheibe 25 mit dem Außenumfang des Messrohres 19 verbunden. Ein sich dort möglicherweise absetzende Staubbeladung 29, rieselt in Pfeilrichtung 28 herab. Damit wird vermieden, dass die Bohrungen 33 mit Staub belastet werden.
  • Damit ist eine einwandfreie Messung des Füllstandes von Flüssigkeiten im Schmutzbehälter möglich, auch wenn vorher mit Staub gearbeitet wurde. Eine Reinigung der gesamten Füllstandsmessanordnung beim Übergang von der einen Betrieb auf die andere ist deshalb nicht mehr erforderlich.

  1. Schmutzsauger mit Füllstandsmessung für Flüssigkeiten im Schmutzbehälter (1) mit einem Differenzdrucksensor (11) und einem daran angeschlossenen Füllstandsmessrohr (19), welches in den Innenraum des Schmutzbehälters bis in die Nähe des Bodens ragt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens der untere Bereich des Füllstandsmessrohres (19) von einem luftumspülten Schutzrohr (22) umgeben ist.
  2. Schmutzsauger mit Füllstandsmessung nach Anspruch 1 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die untere Mündung des Schutzrohres (22) in axialer Richtung über die stirnseitige Öffnung (20) des Füllstandsmessrohres (19) hinaus erstreckt.
  3. Schmutzsauger nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Füllstandsmessrohr (19) etwa über ein Drittel seiner in den Schmutzbehälter hineinragenden Länge von dem luftdurchströmten Schutzrohr (22) umgeben ist.
  4. Schmutzsauger nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Füllstandsmessrohr (19) aus einem elastomeren Schlauch besteht.
  5. Schmutzsauger nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auch das Schutzrohr (22) aus einem elastomeren Schlauch besteht.
  6. Schmutzsauger nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schutzrohr (18) luftschlüssig am Außenumfang des Messrohres 19 angeschlossen ist und eine abgeschrägte Dachfläche (24) aufweist, in der luftführende Bohrungen (33) angeordnet sind.
  7. Schmutzsauger nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bohrungen (33) am Umfang verteilt in der Dachfläche (24) angeordnet sind.
  8. Schmutzsauger nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die im Schmutzbehälter (1) vorhandene, turbulente Luft als Zirkulationsstrom (27) durch den Mantelraum (32) in das Schutzrohr (18) einströmt.
  9. Schmutzsauger nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zur zentrischen Stabilisierung der Lage des Messrohres (19) im Schutzrohr (18) radiale, abstandshaltende Stege (34) angeordnet sind.
  10. Schmutzsauger nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Messrohr (19) eine Abweisscheibe (25) angeordnet ist, die das obere, geschlossene Ende des Schutzrohres (22) übergreift und die dort angeordneten Bohrungen (33) dachförmig abdeckt.
