Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Drehschieber-Vakuumpumpe (1) bzw. -Verdichter, mit einem Pumpengehäuse (3), zwei Einlässen (14,15) und zwei Auslässen (16, 17), sowie einem Rotor (10), wobei in Rotationsrichtung (r) jeweils Ein- und Auslässe (14, 15 und 16, 17) abwechselnd ausgebildet sind, wobei die Einlassluft vor Eintritt in die Pumpe zumindest je eine Einlassvorkammer (45) und die Auslassluft zumindest je eine Auslassnachkammer (46) durchsetzt. Um eine Drehschieber-Vakuumpumpe bzw. -Verdichter der in Rede stehenden Art weiter zu verbessern, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Einlassvorkammern (45) auf einer Pumpenseite und die Auslassnachkammern (46) auf einer zweiten Pumpenseite angeordnet sind.
