Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and a device for mechanical adhesive transfer to a relative moving web or a sequence of having an adhesive surface or a glued on by-product Objects, in particular paper or board webs.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a improved technique for mechanical Show adhesive transfer.
- the claimed application technique has the advantage that, instead of liquid adhesives, very small and dimensionally stable pressure-sensitive adhesive drops are used.
- the problems of safe handling, control, nozzle and line clogging, cleaning, etc. associated with liquid adhesives can thus be circumvented.
- the pressure-sensitive adhesive drops provide immediate adhesion and adhesion without cooling and drying times.
- the pressure-sensitive adhesive drops of the transfer adhesive may alternatively directly or indirectly to a relative to Applicator moving web are transmitted.
- the adhesive When transferred directly, the adhesive will become detached applied by the carrier directly to the web and then stands as an open adhesive surface for a variety of Tasks available.
- the direct order can be immediate from the carrier to the web or indirectly via a Intermediate transfer element done.
- the adhesive is first on a by-product to be bonded to the material web and then applied to the web with this.
- the applicator has a wide range of uses, of any kinds and relative speeds of Material webs and application techniques includes.
- a Material web can e.g. a more or less fast running paper, foil or cardboard web or a continuous or intermittently moving sequence of individual objects, e.g. Packaging blanks, cartons or the like., Be in the sense of a material flow. Between the applicator and the material or the Material web is a relative movement. In most Use cases here is the applicator arranged stationary, with the sticking to Material at the applicator as running Material web or material flow moved past. The kinematic mapping can also be reversed, where the applicator moves relative to the material. This is z. B. in large format materials or Objects of the case that are at rest or yourself can move at a low speed.
- the adhesive can be applied to the material web directly and open be applied to a later mutual Adhesive bonding of parts of the web, e.g. from Packaging blanks of an erected box or of folded or cut sides of a paper web, to enable. Alternatively or additionally By-products, e.g. Samples, data carriers or the like., On the material web to be glued, what also afterwards on a previously applied glue line or adhesive surface is possible.
- Material web This includes both the mentioned running paper webs etc., material flows of Single objects, as well as the transient or stationary arrangement of individual materials or Objects.
- the pressure-sensitive adhesive drops are in a grid structure to the wearer. This has the advantage that when Pressing the carrier with the material web the Shear-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesive drops in a precisely controllable Quantity and local distribution detached from the carrier and on transfer the web or to the by-product become. Here are just as many pressure-sensitive adhesive drops detached, such as from the pressed-on material or by-product be covered. Pressure-sensitive adhesive drops that are not with the Material or by-product come into contact, remain on the carrier. This will be exactly on the Contact area limited and thus precisely controllable Transferred adhesive surfaces. This also ensures a uniform full-surface bonding, something with the hitherto usual adhesive beads is unreachable.
- the pressure-sensitive adhesive drops have a high cohesion, whereby they have a high dimensional stability, which they it prevents with adjacent pressure-sensitive adhesive drops to converge and form larger drops, like this for liquid adhesives is the case. Furthermore the pressure-sensitive adhesive drops to the carrier have a relative low adhesion, which is so dimensioned that the Although drops on the carrier strongly enough adhere to, too not at high carrier speeds fall off, but when compressing the carrier with the web, to which they have a higher adhesion have, detach from the carrier and the web or the by-product will be transferred.
- the carrier is supplied by a feeder and by means of a delivery device in contact with the Material web brought and is further from a Transport drive during rest periods and / or during the Rail contact moved on.
- the carrier can be in variable Clock rates or even permanently on the relatively moving Material web are pressed.
- the device described is based on lower running speeds less wear subjected and by the adhesion of the adhesive drops on Carrier is achieved that not detached Pressure-sensitive adhesive drops remain on the carrier, which as used material rolled up on the take-up roll is, and thus no impurities or Fehlklebitch produce.
- the device is far less maintenance-intensive and universally applicable than before known longitudinal and transverse gluing plants.
- control and the drive of the machine Applicator are preferably designed such that an independent drive for the applicator device is present, which for example by optical scanning of material identification points on the relatively moving Material web is controlled. This can be time consuming Synchronization drives are omitted.
- the drive may be preferred as a combination of some piezo elements to an activator or in another be designed appropriate form.
- the Material web preferably in sheet guide with tension rollers run under the pressure roller or a suction roller be guided. This ensures that the Material web a relative to the stroke direction of the pressure roller discrete position, whereby even at low lift the Pressure roller is ensured that no contact between carrier and web.
- a static arranged pressure roller provided.
- the material web for example looking forward to a foldable or deliverable Run underground, with the material web at each Arching of the substrate pressed against the pressure roller becomes.
- applicator is for the Adhesive transfer to by-products and their subsequent Attachment provided on the material web.
- the by-products can be applied to a previously with glue drops provided material web are applied.

Abstract
