Definitions

• This invention concerns the backrest for seating, such as, but not limited to, office chairs and such like.
• Some seating fixtures in particular but not exclusively office chairs, have a backrest made up of moulded plastic shells and assembled together so as to form a front part, normally upholstered, and a back part formed by the surface of the rear shell.
