Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for guiding, treating or conveying at least one thread according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • devices are used for guiding and conveying a thread, for example in a spinning process, which consist of a delivery roller and an idler roller assigned to the delivery route, in order to enable the thread to be wrapped multiple times.
  • the delivery roller is driven, the feed roller can be designed with or without a drive, as described for example in EP 1 001 521 A2.
  • the delivery roller and the idler roller are each driven by an electric motor designed as a synchronous motor.
  • the electric motors are controlled by a control unit by a set frequency in order to drive the delivery roller and the idler roller at the same peripheral speed.
  • the design of the drives is based on the fact that the circumferential speed of the delivery roll and the circumferential speed of the idler roll must be kept constant in order to maintain a thread speed that is as constant as possible. In practice, however, even slight inaccuracies in the jacket of the delivery roll or in the jacket of the idler roll lead to deviations in the jacket diameter, which has a direct effect on a change in the peripheral speeds.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of designing a device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the thread can be guided at an essentially constant speed on the circumference of the delivery roller and on the circumference of the feed roller.
  • the electric motor of the idler roller is designed as an asynchronous motor which is controlled by a target frequency and which has motor slip.
  • the invention has the particular advantage that the idler roller can be operated at a speed which is based on the actual peripheral speed of the delivery roller.

  • the asynchronous motors can tend to be operated with the same field orientation under load, so that the idler roller acts as a support to the delivery roller in order to apply a total tractive force.
  • the asynchronous motor of the idler roller is designed to be as electrically soft as possible, ie the asynchronous motor of the idler roller has a relatively large motor slip.

  • the filler roller is preferably designed with a substantially smaller jacket diameter.
  • the asynchronous motor of the idler roller is designed with a smaller number of pole pairs in order to convert the target frequency into a corresponding peripheral speed.
  • the delivery roller and / or the idler roller have at least one diameter step.

  • the synchronous motor of the delivery roller 2 and the asynchronous motor of the idler roller 3 are controlled by the control unit 10 with an identical target frequency.
  • the asynchronous portion of the motor ensures an advantageous start-up after switching on until the target frequency is reached.
  • the synchronous component ensures that the delivery roller is driven at a frequency that does not deviate from the target frequency. In this way, multiple delivery roles can be controlled via a common converter.
