Abstract

L'invention concerne un débitmètre inductif pour fluides électriquement conducteurs comportant une section de conduite d'écoulement isolante de section circulaire, une paire d'électrodes diamétralement opposées et électriquement couplées par le fluide électriquement conducteur, et un système de génération de champ magnétique. Ce système de génération de champ magnétique comprend la section de conduite d'écoulement à angle de contact déterminé et il génère un champ magnétique à orientation de ligne de champ sensiblement perpendiculaire aux droites de liaison entre les électrodes de mesure et perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal de la conduite d'écoulement. A cet effet, des ensembles de surfaces actives, notamment des éléments plats, sur lesquels les lignes de champ du système de génération de champ magnétique traversent de manière limitée la paroi intérieure de la conduite d'écoulement, sont mesurés de telle manière que, dans une représentation de la paroi intérieure de la conduite d'écoulement, des droites de référence tangentielles placées sur les ensembles de surfaces actives convergent par paires en direction de l'emplacement des électrodes correspondantes, ces droites tangentielles étant incidentes de l'extérieur en deux points avec les ensembles de surfaces actives. Entre deux points de contact se trouvent des zones concaves où les lignes de délimitation des ensembles de surfaces actives n'ont aucun point de contact avec les droites limitatives tangentielles.
