Definitions
- the invention is based on a so-called gooseneck microphone according to the Preamble of the independent claim.
- So-called gooseneck microphones are characterized by the fact that the actual Microphone on a plastically deformable rod-shaped holding element, the so-called gooseneck, is attached.
- the holding element itself is in turn at one Console attached.
- the deformability of the retaining element serves to the microphone by bending the retaining element in a desired position, preferably near the Mouth of the user, to pivot.
- the holding element has a sufficient Stability, the microphone after pivoting in the pivoted position too hold.
- Such gooseneck microphones are used for example Hands-free devices for mobile phones in motor vehicles or for the Announcement mode used in travel or city buses.
- the gooseneck microphone according to the invention with the features of the independent Claim has the advantage of increased stability of the gooseneck and thus a higher stability of the adjusted microphone position, especially when used in not vibration-free environment, so for example in motor vehicles.
- the invention offers the advantage that longer goosenecks and / or can be used with a thinner neck cross-section without the Stability of the arrangement thereby suffers.
- the stiffening element surrounds the retaining element at least in its particularly loaded area, ie in particular close to the attachment of the retaining element on the headrest / backrest, since here are the largest bending moments due to the influence the weight and superimposed vibration-induced acceleration forces too are expected.
- the stiffening element consists of an elastic material.
- the stiffening element in a first (vertical) direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the holding member has a larger cross-section than in a second (horizontal) direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the holding element and perpendicular to first direction.
- the stiffening element has a substantially oval Cross-section on.
- the cross section of the stiffening element along the Retaining element to the microphone or with increasing distance from the attachment of the retaining element is adjusted.
- FIG. 1 shows the headrest / backrest 1 of a vehicle seat, here for example the Driver's seat in a motor vehicle.
- a so-called gooseneck microphone 6 is attached on the side surface 7 of the headrest / backrest. 1 of the vehicle seat.
- the gooseneck microphone 6 comprises a plastically deformable, hollow bar-shaped Retaining element 3, to which a microphone capsule 2 is attached. Through the interior of the Hollow bar-shaped holding element 2 are not shown in the figure connection lines led for the microphone capsule 2.
- the microphone capsule 2 opposite end of the Holding element 3 and thus the entire gooseneck microphone 6 is on the Headrest / backrest 1 attached.
- the position of the microphone capsule 2 by bending the Gooseneck adjustable Due to the plastic deformability of the holding element 3 of the described Gooseneck microphone 6 is the position of the microphone capsule 2 by bending the Gooseneck adjustable. In particular, the microphone capsule 2 in a position in near the mouth of the driver sitting on the vehicle seat become.
- the attachment of the gooseneck microphone 6 to the headrest / backrest is preferably carried out by means of a pivot bearing 5.
- the pivot bearing 5 allows pivoting of the retaining element 3 and thus the microphone capsule 2 in a semicircle about the pivot bearing 5, that is substantially in a plane parallel to the side surface 7 of the headrest / backrest 1. This allows more degrees of freedom in adjusting the position of the microphone capsule. 2 ,
- the pivot bearing 5 is designed so that its torque is sufficient, an adjustment of the microphone position by vibrations, as they are when driving on uneven floors or by running riot of a vehicle internal combustion engine o. emerge, sure to prevent.
- the torque of the rotary bearing 5 is also set so low that the microphone 6 can be manually pivoted about the pivot bearing 5.
- the holding element 3 In the position of the gooseneck microphone 6 shown in Figure 1 acts on the Speech capsule 2 and the holding member 3, the weight. This is superimposed on one Acceleration force in vehicle vibrations due to overrunning of Road bumps or the like. To prevent unwanted bending of the Holding element 3 by acting on the microphone capsule 2 and the holding element 3 Weight and acceleration force and thus an unwanted adjustment of the position to prevent the microphone capsule 2, the holding element 3 in the region of the highest Bending moments, so near its attachment 5 on the headrest / backrest Stiffening element 4 on.
- the Stiffening element 4 has a highly oval cross section and is concentric around arranged the holding element 3 around. Alternative cross-sectional shapes are possible and are within the scope of the present invention.
- the cross section of the stiffening element 4 tapers according to the course of acting on the holding element 3 Bending moments arising as a result of the weight and possibly in the same direction acting vertical acceleration forces sets.
- the cross section 42 of the stiffening element in horizontal Direction x is less than that in the vertical direction y and preferably along its Length equal. This follows consistently from the fact that the on the Gooseneck 3 in the horizontal direction x acting forces in the ordinary Operation low and therefore the gooseneck in the horizontal direction x none additional stabilization is needed. In addition, the gooseneck microphone in the Case of a possible impact of the driver's head, for example due to a Rear-end collision, to oppose the least possible resistance to To avoid injury.
- the extension of the stiffening element 4 in horizontal Direction results essentially from the desire, the stiffening element. 4 to be able to produce one piece and also this easily on the holding element. 3 be able to fasten, namely, as in the present case in that the Stiffening element 4 is pushed over the gooseneck 3.

Abstract
