Definitions
- the invention relates to a hair clip comprising more particularly two claws hinged to be moved relative to each other in an open position or in a closed position and a link connecting each claw to exert a force by deforming in elongation against the displacement of the two claws from the closed position to the open position to return the two claws in the closed position.
- a clothespin having an analogy with this type of hair clip is known from the document GB 829 677 .
- the link is constituted by a helical spring with contiguous turns.
- Each claw is provided with a blind hole, a portion of which is threaded to receive by screwing each end of the coil spring.
- the spring is concealed by the two claws. The screwing of one end of the coil spring in one of the two claws is simply done. However, screwing the opposite end into the other claw appears more complicated, insofar as the screwing is no longer possible when the two claws are sufficiently close to each other to articulate with each other around of a hinge axis.
- the establishment of the link appears much simpler in a hair clip known from the document US 2641266 .
- the link is constituted by a rubber band closed on itself. It is mounted around the two claws being disposed on the opposite side, the two lever arms of each claw relative to the joint.
- the link is visible and in addition exerts the restoring force in any opening position of the hair clip. In other words, you must exert a relentless effort on the lever arms to keep the hair clip in the open position. It may result for a user a certain discomfort, all the more marked as the opening range of the hair clip is greater.
- the document WO-2004/066778 discloses a hair clip according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the link is elastomeric material and the two claws are provided with passage rings through which the link is introduced by a free end to be attached to both claws by fixing means of the free end of the link, received in lugs formed at a distance from the passage rings.
- the rings of passage as the lugs are salient compared to the claws.
- One of the aims of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages which have just been exposed.
- the invention relates to a hair clip according to claim 1.
- Particular embodiments of the invention appear in the dependent claims.
- the invention also relates to a hair clip comprising two hinged claws to be moved relative to each other in an open position or in a closed position and a link stretched between the claws to exert a force restoring device by deforming in elongation against the displacement of the two claws from the closed position to the open position to return the two claws to the closed position, characterized in that the two claws are provided with holes through which the link is introduced by a free end to be fixed to the two claws by fastening means.
- the holes allow to introduce a free end of the link and then fix it to the two claws while the latter are articulated relative to each other and bear against each other in the closed position of the hair clip. From which results a simplification of the tensioning of the link.
- the tight link between the two claws is concealed by the joint, especially in the closed position of the hair clip.
- the invention finally extends to a hair clip comprising two claws hinged by a hinge to be moved relative to each other in an open position or in a closed position and a closed link on it. same exerting a restoring force by deforming in elongation against the displacement of the two claws from the closed position to the open position to recall the two claws in the closed position, characterized in that the link is received by two articulation supports secured to the claws by two bases and articulated by two heads which extend in a direction of articulation beyond the bases to hide the link in the closed position.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 show a hair clip according to a first embodiment of the invention respectively in profile view, in the closed position and in the open position and in rear view, in the closed position.
- the clip illustrated in these figures has an axis, lever arms of a piece with the claws and a link disposed relative to the claws to undergo an additional deformation in the open position.
- FIGS 7 to 9 correspond to Figures 1 to 3 previous for a clamp distinguished by a cylindrical connection with elastic nip.
- the Figures 10 to 12 correspond to Figures 1 to 3 for a pliers distinguished by a link arranged relative to the claws to clamp the hair of the user in the closed position.
- FIGS. 13 to 15 correspond to Figures10 to 12 for a clamp distinguished by the removal of the lever arms.
- FIGS. 16 to 18 show a hair clip according tothe second embodiment of the invention respectively in profile view, in the closed position and in the open position and in rear view, in the closed position.
- the clamp illustrated by these figures has a hinge with two axes and a link passing through the joint by the passage created between the two axes to stabilize the clamp in the open position.
- FIGS. 19 to 21 correspond to Figures 16 to 18 for a clamp distinguished by an articulation with two cylindrical links.
- the Figures 22 to 24 correspond to Figures 16 to 18 for a clip distinguished by a double joint with two pairs of coaxial axes carried by a hinge piece.
- the figure 25 is an enlargement of the figure 24 .
- the figure 26 is a sectional view in detail of a method of fixing the link to the claws of the hair clip according to the first or second embodiment of the invention.
- FIGS. 27 and 28 show respectively in top view and in section a second attachment mode of the link to the claws of the hair clip according to the first or second embodiment of the invention.
- FIGS. 29 to 33 show a hair clip according to a third, embodiment of invention, respectively in profile view, in the closed position and in the open position, in rear view in the closed position, in top view in the open position and one of the claws constituting the clamp, in plan view.
- the clip illustrated by these figures has a hinge axis, one-piece lever arms with the claws and a closed link on itself arranged relative to the claws to clamp the user's hair in the closed position. .

- a hair clip comprises two claws 1 and 3 hinged to be displaced relative to each other in an open position.
- a link 11 is fixed on the claws 1 and 3 and is sold between them to exert a restoring force by deforming in elongation against the displacement of the two claws 1 and 3 to recall them in a closed position.
- the two claws 1 and 3 are articulated by an axis 5 carried by two axle supports 13 and 15 each integral with a claw and are displaced by means of lever arms 7 and 9 each integral with a claw.
- the link 11 is fixed on each claw 1 or 3 and stretched on the opposite side to the lever arms 7 and 9 relative to the axis 5 without it being necessary to pass through the slots formed in these lever arms. This results in a simplification for arranging the lever arms relative to the claws.
- the link 11 is provided with bulges 17 and 19 to be received in notches 21 and 23 formed in the claws 1 and 3.
- the link is put in place by compressing the bulges 17 and 19 to introduce them through passage sections 22 and 24, ie holes, opening into the notches 21 and 23.
- the bulges 17 and 19 are for example a corner or a bead formed at one or both ends of the link 11.
- the bores 22 and 24 may each further comprise a first section adapted to the passage of the bulges of the link 11 and a second section narrower than the bulges 17 and 19 to retain the latter relative to the claws 1 and 3.
- the link 11 is provided with a bulge 21 to allow the opposite end to be introduced into the passage sections 22 and 24 of the notches 21 and 23 without the need to compress this opposite end.
- Fixing this end of the link 11 is then provided by a fastening means 26, for example a U-shaped piece, for example metal, engaging on this end to block the link 11 in the corresponding notch 19.
- a fastening means 26 for example a U-shaped piece, for example metal, engaging on this end to block the link 11 in the corresponding notch 19.
- This method of fixing the link is illustrated by the Figures 10 to 26 ; the latter figure showing in detail the arrangement of the U-shaped part engaged with one end of the link.
- Other pieces of fasteners that a U-piece are also suitable for fixing the link 11 on each of the claws 1 and 3 of the hair clip, including a metal n
- the link 11 introduced into the passage sections 22 and 24 of the claws 1 and 3 can still be fixed thereto by a key introduced into a piercing of the link or by notches formed on one end of the link 11 and received in corresponding notches formed in the passage sections 22 and 24. It is further provided to fix the open connection of the passage sections by gluing or welding to the two claws 1 and 3.
- the link 11 disposed on the opposite side to the lever arms 7 and 9 relative to the hinge axis 5 is concealed by the axis supports 13 and 15 in the closed position in particular, as clearly visible on the figure 3 .
- the deformation in elongation of the link 11 is accompanied by a restoring force exerted symmetrically with respect to the hinge axis 5 on each claw 1 or 3.
