Abstract
L'invention concerne un système de localisation de position qui comprend une station de base (22) radio réceptrice et une pluralité de dispositifs (21) radio émetteurs/récepteurs portatifs pourvus chacun de moyens (25) permettant de déterminer la position mondiale instantanée du dispositif, et conçus pour signaler cette position à la station de base. Chaque dispositif permet de surveiller les transmissions provenant d'autres dispositifs du système et de relayer les messages d'un dispositif à un autre, ce système permettant de transmettre par relais à la station de base un message provenant d'un dispositif se situant hors de la portée de celle-ci.
