Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Gasbrenners, wobei dem Gasbrenner ein Verbrennungsluftstrom über eine Verbrennungsluftleitung (12) und ein Gasstrom über eine Gasleitung (10), in der mindestens ein Gasventil (11) angeordnet ist und die mit einer Gasdüse (15) in der Verbrennungsluftleitung (12) mündet, zugeführt wird, wobei der Gasstrom abhängig von einem Sensor (16), der einerseits an der den Gasstrom führenden Gasleitung (10) und andererseits an der den Verbrennungsluftstrom führenden Verbrennungsluftleitung (12) oder an einem Referenzsystem angreift, derart eingestellt wird, dass das oder jedes Gasventil (11) anhängig von dem vom Sensor (16) bereistgestellten Signal betätigt wird, und wobei der Verbrennungsluftstrom durch ein Gebläse (13) eingestellt wird. Erfindungsgemäß wird das oder jedes Gasventil (11) zur Einstellung des Gasstroms durch die Gasleitung (10) bei laufendem Gebläse (13) derart abhängig von einem vom Sensor (16) bereitgestellten Signal (19) betätigt, dass dann, wenn das vom Sensor (16) bereitgestellte Signal innerhalb eines ersten Wertebereichs (28, 38) liegt, der Gasstrom freigegeben wird, dass dann, wenn das vom Sensor (16) bereitgestellte Signal innerhalb eines zweiten Wertebereichs (29, 39) liegt, der Gasstrom freigegeben und gleichzeitig ein Warnsignal generiert wird, und dass dann, wenn das vom Sensor (16) bereitgestellte Signal innerhalb eines dritten Wertebereichs (30, 40) liegt, ein Warnsignal generiert und der Gasstrom gesperrt wird.
