Definitions

  • the invention relates to a check valve with a first hose connection housing and a second hose connection housing and with a membrane disc made of flexible material arranged between the two hose connection housings, which can be lifted off in the event of excess pressure in an inlet passage from an annular valve seat surrounding the inlet passage.
  • check valve is known, for example, from an earlier proposal by the applicant from EP 0 612 537.
  • the two hose connection housings are usually made of plastic by injection molding and the membrane disc is clamped between the two hose connection housings, whereupon the two hose connection housings are connected to one another by ultrasonic welding or gluing.
  • This type of production has certain disadvantages, since the hose connection housings produced have to be handled and assembled in a separate work step, which can damage the annular valve seat, for example.
  • the possible contamination of the parts before assembly also poses a problem, which is particularly due to the fact that such check valves are used to a large extent in medical technology. is extremely critical.
  • the connection of the two hose connection housings by means of ultrasound welding or gluing is not an optimal type of connection, since this often leads to leakage problems and therefore rejects are produced.
  • the object of the invention is to improve this known check valve in such a way that such problems can no longer occur.
  • this object is essentially achieved in that the two hose connection housings are connected to one another by injection molding in an injection mold.
  • the overmolding produced by overmolding which includes the corresponding areas of the hose connection housing, represents an absolutely safe and tight connection and can be produced with simple means.
  • the hose connection housings are made of plastic by injection molding. Together with the connection by overmolding, this offers the considerable advantage that such check valves are practically completely finished in the casting mold, so that neither contamination can occur nor damage to the valve seat during assembly.
  • the two lower mold halves of the molds in which the hose connection housing was injection molded are brought together after inserting the membrane disk and a respective upper mold half, which contains the cavity for the encapsulation, so that no manual activities are necessary to remove such valves one and the eject the same injection molding machine in which the hose connection housing was manufactured.
  • centering means are provided on the two hose connection housings. As a result, apart from the positioning of the associated mold parts, the exact arrangement of the hose connection housings with respect to one another is ensured.
  • the centering means can be an annular projection in the end face of the first hose connection housing and an annular groove in the end surface of the second hose connection housing, the projection engaging in the ring groove.
  • the invention can be further developed in that the extrusion coating is C-shaped in cross section and comprises laterally projecting edges of the two hose connection housings. This creates a stable and visually pleasing unit.
  • FIGURE 1 is a sectional view of a first check valve according to the invention.
  • FIGURE 2 is a view corresponding to FIG. 1 of a second embodiment.

  • a membrane disk 6 made of flexible material, for example made of silicone, which can be lifted off from an annular valve seat 10 surrounding the inlet passage 8 in the event of overpressure in an inlet passage 8 and thereby releases a flow cross-section so that the controlled one Medium can flow from the inlet passage 8 via the valve seat 10 through openings 11 in the membrane disk 6 to the outlet passage 9.
  • the diaphragm disk 6 will return to the valve seat 10 safely and in minimal times, so that a backflow from the outlet passage 9 to the inlet passage 8 is excluded.
  • the two hose connection housings 2 and 4 in the two embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 are connected to one another by injection molding in an injection mold.
  • the two hose connection housings 2 and 4 are likewise produced by injection molding from plastic and have centering means which facilitate the assembly of the two hose connection housings 2 and 4 in the correct position.
  • the centering means consist of an annular projection 14 in the end face 16 of the first hose connection housing and an annular groove 18 in the end surface 20 of the second hose connection housing 4.
  • the annular projection 14 engages in the annular groove 18 in the assembled state.
  • the extrusion encapsulation 12 made of plastic is egg-shaped in cross-section and encompasses the two disk-shaped edges 22 and 24 of the two hose connection housings 2 and 4. It is obvious that this results in an absolute tight and clean connection of the two hose connection housings 2 and 4 is created.
