Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Abschlussprofil (1) für den Randabschluss von Balkonen (7) oder Terrassen oder dgl. mit einer Drainageschicht (6), aufweisend einen im wesentlichen parallel zur Drainageschicht (6) verlaufenden Befestigungsschenkel (2) sowie mindestens einen Abdeckschenkel (3) zum Abdecken des Randes (15) des Balkons (7), der Terrasse oder dgl., wobei die Drainageschicht (6) oberhalb der Oberseite des Befestigungsschenkels (2) angeordnet und bis in den Bereich von in dem Abdeckschenkel (3) oder angrenzend an den Abdeckschenkel (3) vorgesehenen Ablauföffnungen (8) verläuft. In oder an dem Abdeckschenkel (3) ist eine taschenartige Aufnahme (4) derart gebildet, dass der Randbereich (16) der Drainageschicht (6) nach deren Verlegung und der Zuordnung von taschenartiger Aufnahme (4) und Randbereich (16) der Drainageschicht (6) und der Bereich der Ablauföffnungen (8) geschützt gegenüber Eindringen anschließend verarbeiteter Substanzen und/oder Partikel des Schichtaufbaus des Balkons (7) oder der Terrasse in der taschenartigen Aufnahme (4) aufgenommen ist.
