Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kupplungskopf (20) mit einer automatischen Mittelpufferkupplung (100) für Schienenfahrzeuge nach Art einer Willison-Kupplung mit der Willison-Kontur, der stimseitig zwei Kupplungsklauen, nämlich den kleinen Zahn (27) und den großen Zahn (9), und dazwischen eine Kupplungstasche (18) aufweist, wobei zur horizontalen Ausrichtung beim Kuppeln am Kupplungskopf (20) im wesentlichen senkrecht angeordnete Zentrier-und Eingleitflächen der Willison-Kontur vorgesehen sind und bei miteinander gekuppelten Kupplungsköpfen (20) eine Spiel mit einer Längsebene und/oder Querebene der Mittelpufferkupplung gegeben sein kann. Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung besteht darin, eine derartig gestaltete Kupplungskontur eines Kupplungskopfs zu schaffen, das sehr geringe Spiele in Kupplungslängs- und Kupplungsquerrichtung erzeugt, jedoch gleichzeitig das Kuppeln und Entkuppeln gleichartiger Kupplungen gewährleistet und auch die Kompatibilität zu den bestehenden Kupplungen mit einer Standardkontur umsetzt, wozu vorgeschlagen wird, dass durch geeignete von der standardisierten Willison-Kontur nach UIC-Merkblatt 523 abweichende Dimensionierung der Teile der Mittelpufferkupplung und der Druckkontur (13), der Zugkontur (14), der Abstützfläche (12) und/oder des Kupplungstaschenbodens (10), insbesondere durch Erhöhung mindestens einer der Flächen des Kupplungsprofils (19), das Spiel bei miteinander gekuppelten Kupplungsköpfen, insbesondere im Neuzustand der Kupplungsköpfe nahezu Null, insbesondere weniger als 4 mm, beträgt.
