Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erhöhung der Tintentropfenanzahl in einem Tintentropfenstrahl eines kontinuierlich arbeitenden Tintenstrahldruckers bei dem die Tintentropfen (11,12,13) von wenigstens zwei separat erzeugten Tintentropfenstrahlen (11a,12a,13a) zu einem Tintentropfenstrahl (14a) vereinigt werden, insbesondere derart, dass der vereinigte Tintentropfenstrahl (14a) die Tintentropfen (11,12,13) der jeweiligen separaten Tintentropfenstrahlen (11a,12a,13a) umfasst. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin eine Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung eines Tintentropfenstrahls eines kontinuierlich arbeitenden Tintenstrahldruckers, die wenigstens zwei Druckkammern (1,2,5) zur Erzeugung je eines separaten Tintentropfenstrahls (11a,12a,13a) mit elektrisch geladenen Tintentropfen (11,12,13) und eine Elektrodenanordnung (30, 31, 32 /41, 42, 43)) umfasst, mittels der die separaten Tintentropfenstrahlen (11a,12a,13a) zu einem Tintentropfenstrahl (14a) vereinigbar sind.
