Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen schütt- und einblasbaren Dämmstoff, insbesondere zur Kerndämmung von zweischaligem Mauerwerk, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Dämmstoff aus einem Gemisch von Polystyrol-Partikelschaum-Granulat der Korngröße 2 mm bis 10 mm und Polystyrol-Partikelschaum-Fräsmehl mit einer Korngröße bis 4 mm besteht.
Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines erfindungsgemäßen Dämmstoffs, gekennzeichnet durch die Schritte: Aufschäumen von Polystyrol zu einem Polystyrol-Partikelschaum-Granulat auf eine Dichte von 21 kg/m3 bis 23 kg/m3; Zerkleinern von Polystyrol-Partikelschaum-Regenerat zu Polystyrol-Partikelschaum-Fräsmehl mit einer Korngröße von 0,1 bis 2 mm; Mischen der beiden hergestellten Fraktionen in einem Volumenverhältnis von ca. 60 % Polystyrol-Partikelschaum-Granulat zu ca. 40 % Polystyrol-Partikelschaum-Fräsmehl, sowie die Verwendung von Polystyrol-Partikelschaum-Fräsmehl als schütt- und/oder einblasbarer Dämmstoff, insbesondere zur Kerndämmung von zweischaligem Mauerwerk.
