Abstract

Bei einem Kraftstoffinjektor (1) für Brennkraftmaschinen mit einem an eine Hochdruckseite (5) angeschlossenen Steuerraum (2), über dessen Druck die Bewegung einer Düsennadel (3) gesteuert wird, und mit einem Steuerventil (6), das die Verbindung des Steuerraums (2) zu einer Niederdruckseite (7) entweder sperrt oder öffnet, ist das Steuerventil (6) als Doppelsitzventil mit einer Steuerhülse (10) ausgebildet, die zwischen einer geschlossenen und einer geöffneten Ventilstellung verschiebbar geführt ist, wobei das Steuerventil (6) einen Druckraum (14), der über einen Verbindungskanal (13) mit dem Steuerraum (2) verbunden ist und durch den ersten Ventilsitz (16) des Steuerventils (6) mit der Niederdruckseite (7) verbindbar ist, und zwei durch den zweiten Ventilsitz (18) des Steuerventils (6) miteinander verbindbare Ventilräume (19, 21) aufweist und wobei der eine Ventilraum (19) mit der Hochdruckseite (5) und der andere Ventilraum (21) mit dem Verbindungskanal (13) verbunden ist.
