  • the fixing of lock receiving member (4) onto the opposite frame or panel of the sliding panel assembly is implemented with at least two (and preferably three milled screws) via suitable apertures with respectively milled endings (4b).
  • the proposed system can function with any suitable known commercially available locking mechanism, which, via handling thereof, ensures the reciprocating, vertical upward and downward movement of the dividable mechanism of the special screw and lock assembly, so as to result in the required locking of the framed panel, through engagement of the pin of the lock receiving member by the lock.
