  • Cardboard boxes are commonly used for transporting and storing manufactured articles between the factories where they are manufactured and the storage or sale premises. These boxes comprise a belt generally formed of four interconnected panels, and extended on both sides of flaps articulated on the panels that are folded to form a bottom of one side and the closure of the top of the box of the other. The box is obtained by cutting and grooving a cardboard plate according to the panels and shutters. These boxes are pre-assembled at the cartonnier who delivers them to the flat at the manufacturer of items to be packaged where usually a machine ensures the automatic volume of the box before filling.
