Definitions

  • the invention relates to a snowboard binding according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Snowboard bindings are known in various embodiments.
  • One embodiment provides that the snowboard binding has a front fixing device and a rear fixing device. With these two fixators, the tip and the heel of the snowboard boot are fixed on the snowboard.
  • the disadvantage of this known snowboard binding is that the snowboard boot is set more or less rigid in the binding. As a result, the ride comfort is limited.
  • the DE 38 11 096 A1 shows a snowboard binding of the type specified, in which the snowboard shoe can perform a lateral tilting movement. This tilting movement is achieved by arranging an elastomeric foam plate between the binding plate and the snowboard. This generates a restoring moment in both tilting directions. Its size is variable by the setting of a pull bolt.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a snowboard binding of the aforementioned kind with an improved ride comfort.
  • a snowboard binding is created, which is characterized in comparison to the known snowboard bindings by improved ride comfort.
  • the basic idea of the snowboard binding is that the snowboard boot is not fixed rigidly between the front fixing device and the rear fixing device, but rather that according to the invention the snowboard boot executes a lateral rolling movement. This means that the snowboard boot is suspended in the manner of a swing. As a result, the lateral rolling movement is freely executable.
  • the free executability of the rolling motion means that the tilting position of the snowboarding shoe can be freely adjusted with respect to the snowboard binding depending on the position of the snowboarding rider on the snowboard.
  • an increasing restoring force is set by a corresponding spring device with increasing tilt angle.
  • the two pivot points are there in the area of the top of the snowboard boot and in the area of the heel of the snowboard boot.
  • the basic idea for the technical realization consists in a pivot bearing.
  • this pivot bearing can be formed directly between the snowboard boot and the two fixing devices. But it is also an indirect design of the pivot bearing such conceivable that a separate rotating device is provided which receives the snowboard boot.
  • the pivot bearing is formed by a rotary projection, in particular according to claim 3 by a pivot pin which engages in a corresponding Drehausappelung.
  • the rotary projection can be arranged either on the snowboard boot (or a receiving housing for the snowboard boot) or alternatively on the fixing device.
  • the corresponding Drehausappelung is then formed on the other part.
  • the rotary projection may also be a partial cylinder or a lower half-moon which is open at the bottom, on which the rotary recess rests, instead of a pivot.
  • Other shapes are readily conceivable. It is crucial that a lateral rolling movement is possible.
  • An immediate pivot bearing proposes according to the embodiment in claim 4, that the rotary projection are formed directly on the snowboard boot. This means that the snowboard boot at the top and at the heel each have a rotary projection, wherein the axes of the two rotary projections are in line.
  • the two fixing devices are each formed like a shell.
  • the shell-like design has the advantage that thereby the heel and the top of the snowboard boot are optimally maintained and that in addition, the Drehauslangisme can be formed for the pivot bearing in each of the two shells.
  • the snowboard binding has a cup-shaped front fixing device 1 and a likewise cup-shaped rear fixing device 2 with a heel support 3.
  • a snowboard boot 4 is shown purely schematically in the drawing. It is defined between the front fixing device 1 and the rear fixing device 2.
  • both the front end and the heel of the snowboard boot 4 each have a cylindrical pivot 6, wherein the axes of these two pivot pins 6 lie on a line and coincide with the axis A of the pivot bearing 5.
  • both the front fixing device 1 and the rear fixing device 2 each have a Drehausnaturalung 7, in which the two pivot pins 6 are rotatably mounted about the axis A.
  • a pivot bearing 5 for rotating the snowboard boot 4 about the axis A. This means that depending on the driving position and position of the snowboard rider on the snowboard of the snowboard boot 4th performs a tilting movement about the axis A, either in the one direction or in the other direction, as in the Fig. 2a and 2b is indicated.

Description

In diesen zeigt:
  • Fig. 1
    eine perspektivische Ansicht der Snowboard-Bindung;
    Fig. 2a
    eine Vorderansicht der Snowboard-Bindung in Fig. 1 mit einer Rollbewegung in die eine Richtung;
    Fig. 2b
