- the size of such a charger is often important, especially because of its thickness, so that when it is shipped to a customer by a routing or courier service, such as the public postal service or a private company, it can not be considered as a simple letter in view of its dimensions. It is also impossible to pass it in the standardized slot of the customer's mailbox because its dimensions are too large.
- the charger can be shipped only in the form of a package, which requires the deliveryman to open the mailbox and therefore to have the key. However, this is not always the case, especially if a private parcel forwarding company is used. Delivery of the charger is therefore more expensive and often longer, which can be a disadvantage for the customer as well as for the supplier who risks losing sales.
