Abstract

L'élément de construction pneumatique selon l'invention se compose d'un à plusieurs éléments connectés les uns aux autres du type suivant : deux corps creux (1) en matériau textile de préférence revêtu de manière étanche aux gaz avec deux capuchons d'extrémité (5) sont assemblés de telle sorte qu'ils produisent une interface commune (2). Le bord de cette interface (2) est formé par deux éléments de traction et pression en forme d'arc (3) dans lesquels est tendue une nervure (4) de préférence étanche aux gaz en un matériau flexible résistant à la traction. Cette nervure (4) peut être raccordée de manière étanche aux gaz aux éléments de traction et pression (3). En remplissant les deux corps creux (1) de gaz sous pression, une tension de traction s se développe dans leurs enveloppes (9), se transmet directement, ou par le biais des éléments de traction et pression (3) à la nervure (4) et la précontraint. Cette précontrainte augmente fortement la rigidité en flexion des éléments de traction et pression (3). Si l'on assemble plusieurs de ces éléments pour former un toit, deux corps creux adjacents (1) forment ainsi une interface (2) avec un élément de traction et pression (3) et une nervure (4).
