Abstract

Das Isolierband besteht aus einer Isolierschicht (6) aus hartem Isolationsmaterial, die in vorbestimmten Abständen Einschnitte (5) aufweist, zwischen denen Segmente (4) der Isolierschicht (6) ausgebildet sind, die miteinander verbunden sind.

Description

  • Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Isolierband mit einer Isolierschicht aus hartem Isolationsmaterial.
  • Derartige Isolierbänder besitzen eine Isolierschicht, die üblicherweise auf einer Trägerschicht angebracht ist, und werden speziell zur thermischen Trennung in verschiedenen Einbausituationen im Trapezblech-, Sandwich- und Metallbau verwendet. Ein besonderes Anwendungsgebiet ist die Verhinderung von Kältebrücken zwischen Gebäudeunterkonstruktion und Außenschale. Es kann dabei sowohl im Wand- als auch im Dachbereich eingesetzt werden. Wichtig ist eine hohe Stauchhärte und eine einfache Verarbeitung und Handhabung.
  • Aufgrund stetig steigender Anforderungen hinsichtlich der Isolationswerte zum Erzielen einer immer noch geringeren Wärmeleitung müssen derartige Isolierbänder dicker ausgestaltet werden, damit sie den Ansprüchen gerecht werden. Hierbei ist es problematisch, dass zu dicke thermisch entkoppelnde Isolierbänder sich nicht mehr streifenförmig zu Rollen aufwickeln lassen.
  • Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Isolierband zur thermischen Trennung zu schaffen, das hohe Isolierwerte erzielt und gleichzeitig in Platz sparender Weise gelagert und transportiert werden kann.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
  • Erfindungsgemäß weist das Isolierband eine Isolierschicht aus hartem Isolationsmaterial auf, die in vorbestimmten Abständen Einschnitte aufweist, zwischen denen einzelne Segmente der Isolierschicht ausgebildet sind, die miteinander verbunden sind.
  • Dadurch wird gewährleistet, dass auch relativ dicke Isolierschichten auf geeignete Weise Platz sparend gelagert und transportiert werden können und dennoch einen hohen Isolationswert besitzen.
  • Vorzugsweise ist das Isolierband aus Handhabungsgründen und im Sinne einer Platzersparnis zu einer Rolle aufgewickelt.
  • Bei dieser Anordnung liegen benachbarte Segmente der Isolierschicht an ihrem unteren Ende eng aneinander und laufen in Richtung ihres oberen Endes auseinander, so dass sich ein sich in Richtung des oberen Endes erweiternder keilförmiger Zwischenraum zwischen den Segmenten ergibt. Auf diese Weise können auch sehr dicke Isolierbänder mit hohen Isolierwerten problemlos im aufgewickelten Zustand gelagert und transportiert werden, ohne die Materialeigenschaften des Isolierbands zu beeinträchtigen.
  • Zum Erzielen hoher Isolierwerte weist die Isolierschicht in bevorzugten Ausführungsformen Mineralwolle, einen harten Polyurethanschaum, einen harten Polyethylenschaum, einen harten Polypropylenschaum, Presspappe, Holz, Styropor oder ein Hohlkammerprofil aus Kunststoff oder einem anderen Material auf.
  • Die Segmente sind vorzugsweise haftend auf einer Trägerschicht angebracht. Als Trägerschicht kommen beispielsweise Vliese, biegeschlaffe Stoffe oder biegeschlaffe Folien sowie Kombinationen hiervon zur Anwendung.
  • In einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsform weist die Trägerschicht zumindest auf der der Isolierschicht zugewandten Seite Selbstklebeeigenschaften auf, wodurch auf einfache Weise eine haftende Verbindung zwischen Trägerschicht und Isolierschicht erzeugt wird.
  • Mehr bevorzugt weist die Trägerschicht auf beiden Seiten Selbstklebeeigenschaften auf, wodurch die Anbringung des Isolierbands an der gewünschten Unterlage vereinfacht wird. In diesem Fall ist die Trägerschicht mit einer Abdeckfolie versehen, die vor dem Einbau des Isolierbands abgelöst wird.
  • Die Einschnitte sind vorteilhafterweise in einem Abstand von jeweils zwischen 1 cm und 15 cm, vorzugsweise zwischen 1,5 und 7 cm, angeordnet. Durch Wahl des Größenbereiches können Isolierbänder einer Dicke von 3 mm bis zu mehreren cm, vorzugsweise zwischen 5 mm und 7 cm, problemlos und auf möglichst Platz sparende Weise gelagert und transportiert werden.
  • Weitere Merkmale, Vorteile und Eigenschaften der vorliegenden Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung unter Bezugnahme auf die Zeichnungen:

  • Das in Fig. 1 dargestellte Isolierband ist teilweise in einem zu einer Rolle aufgewickelten Zustand und teilweise in einem abgewickelten Funktionszustand dargestellt. Das Isolierband weist eine Trägerschicht 2 auf, die beispielsweise aus einem Vlies, einem biegeschlaffen Stoff oder einer biegeschlaffen Folie bestehen kann. Auf der Trägerschicht 2 sind haftend Segmente 4 einer Isolierschicht 6 aufgebracht, die durch Einschnitte 5 voneinander getrennt sind. Die Isolierschicht 6 besitzt einen besonders hohen Isolierwert und besteht aus einem harten Isolationsmaterial, beispielsweise Mineralwolle, einem harten Polyurethanschaum, einem harten Polyethylenschaum, einem harten Polypropylenschaum, aus Presspappe, Holz, Styropor oder einem Hohlkammerprofil aus Kunststoff oder einem anderen Material. Im Grunde kann jeder harte, d.h. weitgehend biegesteife und zu Isolationszwecken einsetzbare Stoff verwendet werden.
  • Die Dicke der Trägerschicht 2 beträgt vorzugsweise zwischen ca. 15 µm und 2 mm, und die Trägerschicht 2 ist vorzugsweise an ihrer den Segmenten 4 der Isolierschicht 6 zugewandten Seite selbstklebend ausgestaltet, wodurch die Anhaftung der Segmente 4 an der Trägerschicht 2 auf besonders einfache Weise gewährleistet ist. Ebenso besteht bei bestimmten Materialien die Möglichkeit einer thermischen Verbindung durch Verschweißen oder Ultraschall. Um den Einbau des Isolierbands zu vereinfachen, ist die Trägerschicht 2 vorzugsweise auch an ihrer anderen Seite mit Selbstklebeeigenschaften ausgestattet. In diesem Fall ist eine hier nicht dargestellte Abdeckfolie notwendig, die über der selbstklebenden Fläche der Trägerschicht 2 angeordnet ist. Alternativ kann auch die Isolierschicht 6 an ihrer Oberseite z.B. mit einer silikonisierten Folie beschichtet sein, die zur Abdeckung dient, sodass eine separate Abdeckfolie auf der selbstklebenden Trägerschicht 2 nicht erforderlich ist.
  • Die Segmente 4 der Isolierschicht 6 besitzen eine Dicke von 3 mm bis zu mehreren cm, vorzugsweise zwischen 5 mm und 7 cm, und sind etwa zwischen 1 cm und 15 cm, vorzugsweise zwischen 1,5 und 7 cm lang. Die Breite der einzelnen Segmente 4 und somit des Isolierbands kann nahezu beliebig gewählt werden und ist auf die entsprechenden Anwendungsgebiete zugeschnitten. Typische Breiten der Isolierbänder sind 3 cm bis 20 cm.
  • Während die einzelnen Segmente 4 der Isolierschicht 6 im geraden Funktionszustand derart eng aneinanderliegen, dass sie eine geschlossene Isolierschicht 6 bilden, führt die Unterteilung der Isolierschicht 6 zu einzelnen Segmenten 4 im aufgewickelten Zustand des Isolierbands dazu, dass benachbarte Segmente 4 der Isolierschicht 6 an ihrem unteren Ende zusammenstoßen und in Richtung ihres oberen Endes auseinanderlaufen, so dass sich ein sich in Richtung des oberen Endes erweiternder keilförmiger Zwischenraum 8 ergibt.
  • Je nach Krümmung des zu einer Rolle aufgewickelten Isolierbands umspannen diese Zwischenräume 8 einen entsprechend großen bzw. kleinen Winkel zwischen den benachbarten Seitenflächen 10 zweier nebeneinander liegender Segmente 4. Dadurch ist es unabhängig von der Dicke der Segmente 4 der Isolierschicht 6 möglich, ohne Beeinflussung der Isolierfähigkeit ein erfindungsgemäßes Isolierband auf Platz sparende Weise zu lagern und zum Einsatzort zu transportieren. Die Rollenform ist dabei meist nicht vollständig rund, da die einzelnen Segmente 4 ab einer bestimmten Dicke bzw. Länge nahezu vollständig biegesteif sind und sich somit viele aneinandergereihte gerade Abschnitte der Isolierbandrolle ergeben, wie es auch aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich ist.
  • Im eingebauten, geraden Funktionszustand liefert das Isolierband einen hervorragenden Isolierwert, der dem Isolierwert einer geschlossenen Isolierschicht entspricht.
  • Ebenso ist es möglich, dass die Einschnitte 5 eine gewisse Breite aufweisen, sodass die einzelnen Segmente 4 auch im Funktionszustand einen vorbestimmten Abstand zueinander besitzen. Neben einer vollständigen Durchtrennung der Isolierschicht 6 kann es auch sinnvoll sein, dünne Stege der Isolierschicht 6 zwischen den einzelnen Segmenten 4 stehen zu lassen, die beim Aufwickeln des Isolierbandes zu einer Rolle entweder durchbrechen oder sich entsprechend verbiegen lassen. In letzterem Fall kann sogar die Trägerschicht 2 entfallen.
  • Das Isolierband kann auch Brandschutzeigenschaften aufweisen.
  • In Fig. 2 ist ein mögliches Herstellungsverfahren des erfindungsgemäßen Isolierbands in schematischer Ansicht dargestellt. Die Isolierschicht 6 wird als Plattenware bereitgestellt und auf einem Förderband 12 vorwärts bewegt. Dabei kann die Isolierschicht 6 bereits im Vorfeld zu Längsstreifen beliebiger Breite geschnitten sein. Anschließend wird die Isolierschicht 6 mittels mindestens einer Quersäge 14 in vorbestimmten Abständen durchtrennt, wodurch einzelne Segmente 4 der Isolierschicht 6 gebildet werden. Es können auch mehrere Quersägen 14 verwendet werden, die parallel zueinander in einem vorbestimmten Abstand angeordnet sind. Die Vorwärtsbewegung des Förderbandes 12 und die Betätigung der Quersägen 14 verläuft vorzugsweise getaktet.
  • Im Anschluss daran werden die einzelnen Segmente 4 der Isolierschicht 6 an ihrer Unterseite mit der Trägerschicht 2 versehen und haftend an dieser angebracht. Vorzugsweise ist die Trägerschicht 2 hierzu selbstklebend ausgestaltet. Beim Anbringen der Trägerschicht 2 ist es wichtig, dass die einzelnen Segmente 4 der Isolierschicht 6 zumindest in einem Teilbereich exakt aneinander anliegen. Anschließend erfolgt gegebenenfalls eine Verpressung der einzelnen Segmente 4 auf die Trägerschicht 2 mittels einer Pressvorrichtung. In diesem Zustand sind die einzelnen Segmente 4 unmittelbar angrenzend aneinander angeordnet und bilden in Kombination eine geschlossene Isolierschicht 6. Das somit erzeugte Isolierband wird anschließend vorzugsweise zu einer Rolle aufgewickelt und somit in einen geeigneten Lager- und Transportzustand gebracht.
  • Auf diese Weise wird ein Isolierband geschaffen, das neben hervorragenden Isolierwerten auch die Eigenschaft aufweist, auf einfache und Platz sparende Weise gelagert und transportiert werden zu können.

Claims (10)

  1. Isolierband mit einer Isolierschicht (6) aus hartem Isolationsmaterial,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    die Isolierschicht (6) in vorbestimmten Abständen Einschnitte (5) aufweist, zwischen denen jeweils Segmente (4) der Isolierschicht (6) ausgebildet sind, die miteinander verbunden sind.
  2. Isolierband nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Isolierband zu einer Rolle aufgewickelt ist.
  3. Isolierband nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass benachbarte Segmente (4) der Isolierschicht (6) an ihrem unteren Ende nahe aneinander liegen und in Richtung ihres oberen Endes auseinanderlaufen, sodass sich ein sich in Richtung des oberen Endes erweiternder keilförmiger Zwischenraum (8) ergibt.
  4. Isolierband nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Isolierschicht (6) Mineralwolle, einen harten Polyurethanschaum, einen harten Polyethylenschaum, einen harten Polypropylenschaum, Presspappe, Holz, Styropor oder ein Hohlkammerprofil aus Kunststoff oder einem anderen Material aufweist.
  5. Isolierband nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Segmente (4) haftend auf einer Trägerschicht (2) angebracht sind, die ein Vlies, einen biegeschlaffen Stoff oder eine biegeschlaffe Folie aufweist.
  6. Isolierband nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Trägerschicht (2) auf mindestens einer Seite Selbstklebeeigenschaften aufweist.
  7. Isolierband nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Trägerschicht (2) auf beiden Seiten Selbstklebeeigenschaften aufweist.
  8. Isolierband nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, das die Einschnitte (5) in der Isolierschicht (6) in einem Abstand von jeweils zwischen 1 cm und 15 cm, vorzugsweise zwischen 1,5 und 7 cm, angeordnet sind.
  9. Isolierband nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Isolierschicht (6) eine Dicke von 3 mm bis zu mehreren cm, vorzugsweise zwischen 5 mm und 7 cm, aufweist.
