Claims (15)

  1. Device for drying laundry (1) comprising at least two support arms (2, 3) which are movably arranged relative to one another and comprising at least one clothes line (5) extending from one support arm to the other support arm, the support arms optionally being able to be transferred into an extended position or into a folded-up position and the support arms (2, 3) being arranged substantially horizontally at least in the folded-up position and a cover being provided, characterised in that the cover is able to be pushed onto the support arms (2, 3) in the folded-up position such that the cover (13) receives the hanging-down clothes line (5) when pushed onto the support arms (2, 3) and/or bears against the support arms (2, 3).
  2. Device for drying laundry according to Claim 1, characterised in that the cover (13) at least partially covers the support arms (2, 3) and the clothes line (5).
  3. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the cover (13) is rigidly configured in a self-supporting manner.
  4. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the cover (13) is of concave configuration and in the folded-up position at least partially encloses the support arms (2, 3) and the clothes line (5).
  5. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the cover (13) is able to be pushed onto the support arms (2, 3) along the longitudinal extension thereof.
  6. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, when pushed onto the support arms (2, 3), the cover (13) automatically holds the clothes line (5) in position against the support arms (2, 3).
  7. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the internal profile of the cover (13) corresponds to the external profile of the support arms (2, 3) in the folded-up position.
  8. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the support arms (2, 3) comprise a guide groove and/or guide projection for the cover (13) to be pushed on and/or the support arms (2, 3) in turn serve as a guide for the cover (13) to be pushed on.
  9. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the cover (13) is able to be folded away and/or removed, at least for bringing about the extended position.
  10. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the support arms (2, 3) in the folded-up position are preferably able to be folded up and/or pivoted with the pushed-on cover (13) into a vertical position.
  11. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the device for drying laundry comprises at least one further support arm which in the folded-up position is at least partially covered by the cover (13).
  12. Device for drying laundry according to Claim 11, characterised in that a further clothes line extends from the further support arm to one of the support arms (2, 3).
  13. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the support arms (2, 3) and/or the further support arms are connected together in an articulated manner.
  14. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the support arms (2, 3) and/or the further support arms are arranged in a fan-like manner and are pivotable.
  15. Device for drying laundry according to one of Claims 1 to 14, characterised in that the device for drying laundry comprises a mount (4) for mounting on the wall and/or in that the device for drying laundry comprises a support frame.
