Abstract

The invention relates to a break and connection module applied in high voltage switchgear, comprising a multi-pole vacuum switch (2), comprising a fixed contact (9) and a mobile contact (10), an operating mechanism (3) common to all the poles of the switch, a base (4) configured to support the vacuum switch (2) and the operating mechanism (3), a coupling device (16) for each pole of the vacuum switch (2) which transmits an actuating force from the operating mechanism (3) to the mobile contact (10), wherein the operating mechanism (3) comprises a locking device (8) configured to prevent a rebound effect of the mobile contact (10) after performing break and/or connection operations of said vacuum switch (2).
