Es wird eine Prägewalzenanordnung zur Herstellung von mehrlagigen Tissueartikeln, insbesondere zur Herstellung von Toilettenpapier, Papiertaschentüchern, Hygieneartikeln, Küchentüchern oder Servietten, mit mindestens einem ersten Prägewalzenpaar (1,5) zum Prägen einer ersten Tissuelage (12) und mindestens einem zweiten Prägewalzenpaar (1',5') zum Prägen einer zweiten Tissuelage (13) und einer Einrichtung zum Verbinden der mindestens beiden, getrennt voneinander geprägten Tissuelagen, wobei jedes Prägewalzenpaar jeweils eine einen Prägespalt ausbildende gravierte Walze (1,1') und eine hiermit zusammenwirkende Gegenwalze (5,5') umfaßt, beschrieben. Die Gegenwalze des ersten Walzenpaares und/oder die Gegenwalze des zweiten Walzenpaares ist bzw. sind ebenfalls als gravierte Gegenwalze ausgebildet, wobei die gravierte Walze und die zugehörige gravierte Gegenwalze eine aufeinander angepaßte positiv/negativ-Gravur aufweisen.
