Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a method of filing folded, stapled or bound together pages, a piercing device for piercing holes in the folded, stapled or bound related pages, and a depositor.
  • the object is achieved for a generic method in that in a first step with a lancing device, a passage slot in the back of the folded, stapled or bound related pages is stung and in a second step, an insert with an eyelet so in the passage slit is pushed, that the eyelet protrudes laterally outside at least partially on the back.
  • the lancing device has a lower housing part provided with a support surface which can be placed on the sides and an upper housing part connected to at least one bite block provided with at least one cutting edge, and the upper housing part by means of a lifting movement in relation to the lower one Housing part is relocatable.

Since the position of the sides, which must be penetrated in the back with the lancing device, is generally thinner than the entire thickness of all sides of the object to be filing, only a correspondingly smaller amount of force must be expended to produce the required passage slot After manufacturing the passage slot, it is easy to push the insert with the eyelet into the passage slot that the eyelet protrudes laterally outside at least partially on the back.
  • One or more passage slots can be introduced into associated sides, both at a distance from each other in folding length, preferably at a distance which corresponds to the spacing of the folder straps or stapler straps from each other, as well as one above the other, which is particularly suitable for heavier items.
