Abstract

Eine Verpackungsmaschine bzw. ein Verfahren zum Verpacken von Produkten in Beutel weist einen Dackel (5) auf, der mit einem Kammerboden (6) eine Kammer (4) bildet. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine verbesserte Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Evakuierung der Kammer (4) einer Verpackungsmaschine bereitzustellen. Zu diesem Zweck ist im Kammerboden (6) eine Absaugvorrichtung (100) vorgesehen, die derart ausgebildet ist, dass Gas absaugbar und die Kammer (4) gasdicht verschließbar ist, wobei wenigstens ein Verschließelement (8, 8') vorgesehen ist, das von einer ersten angehobenen Position in eine zweite abgesenkte Position bewegbar ist.
