Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Überführen einer laufenden Materialbahn (2) auf einen neuen Wickelkern (5), wobei die Materialbahn (2) vorzugsweise über einen Umfangsbereich (10) einer vorzugsweise verlagerbaren und mit einer herzustellenden Wickelrolle (6) einen Wickelspalt (11) bildenden Tragtrommel (6) geführt und anschließend auf einen Wickelkern (4) zu der herzustellenden Wickelrolle (6) aufgewickelt wird, wobei der neue Wickelkern (5) vorzugsweise unmittelbar vor Erreichen eines vorbestimmten Wickelrollendurchmessers (D) in dem von der Materialbahn (2) umschlungenen Umfangsbereich (10) der Tragtrommel (6) an dieselbige bei Ausbildung eines neuen Wickelspalts (14) gebracht wird und wobei die Materialbahn (2) nach Ausbildung des neuen Wickelspalts (14) zwischen dem neuen Wickelkern (5) und der Tragtrommel (6) mittels mindestens einer Trenneinrichtung (21) durchtrennt und ein adhäsives Medium (16) zwischen die Lagen der Materialbahn (2) mittels mindestens einer Auftragseinrichtung (15) eingebracht wird.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das adhäsive Medium (16) in Laufrichtung (R) der Materialbahn (2) vor dem neuen, zwischen dem neuen Wickelkern (5) und der Tragtrommel (6) ausgebildeten Wickelspalt (14) oberseitig und als wenigstens ein Streifen (17) auf die Materialbahn (2) mittels der mindestens einen Auftragseinrichtung (15) derart aufgebracht wird, so dass es den neuen Wickelspalt (14) in einem Bereich durchläuft, in welchem der neue Wickelkern (5) mit wenigstens einer an dem Umfang (19) radial angeordneten Aussparung (18) versehen ist, wobei die wenigstens eine Aussparung (18) derart vorgesehen ist, dass das auf die Materialbahn (2) aufgebrachte adhäsive Medium (16) den neuen Wickelspalt (14) unberührt durchläuft.
Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung sowohl eine Wickelmaschine (1) als auch einen Wickelkern (5) zur Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens.
