Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Helm zum Schutz des Kopfes eines Trägers mit einer Helmschale (2) und mit einem an der Helmschale (2) angebrachten Fixiersystem zum Fixieren der Helmschale (2) an dem Kopf des Trägers, das mindestens ein Befestigungselement (4), das an der Helmschale (2) befestigt ist und einen an der Helmschale (2) angebrachten Befestigungsabschnitt (8) und einen von der Helmschale (2) weg verlaufenden freien Beabstandungsabschnitt (11) aufweist, und mindestens ein Kopfband (5) zur verstellbaren Anlage an dem Kopf des Trägers sowie mindestens ein Schwenkgelenk (6) aufweist, das das mindestens eine Kopfband (5) mit dem mindestens einen Befestigungselement (4) schwenkbar verbindet und zwischen dem freien Ende (12) des Beabstandungsabschnitts (11) und dem mindestens einen Kopfband (5) vorgesehen ist.
