Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Handhabung von Druckplatten, wobei belichtete und noch nicht abgekantete Druckplatten im Bereich einer Biegeeinrichtung unter Ausbildung eines Vorlaufendes und eines Nachlaufendes abgekantet werden, wobei die belichteten und abgekanteten Druckplatten ausgehend von der Biegeeinrichtung in Richtung auf eine Druckmaschine transportiert werden, und wobei die in Richtung auf die Druckmaschine transportierten Druckplatten an Formzylindern von Druckwerken der Druckmaschine gespannt werden. Erfindungsgemäß wird jede belichtete und abgekantete Druckplatte im Bereich der Biegeeinrichtung an dem Vorlaufende oder an dem Nachlaufende derselben mit Hilfe einer Griffschiene erfasst und im an der Griffschiene erfassten Zustand zusammen mit der Griffschiene an eine Transporteinrichtung übergeben, wobei die Transporteinrichtung die jeweilige Druckplatte zusammen mit der Griffschiene in Richtung auf die Druckmaschine transportiert, und wobei die jeweilige Druckplatte im Bereich der Druckmaschine zusammen mit der Griffschiene von der Transporteinrichtung entnommen und im an der Griffschiene erfassten Zustand einem Formzylinder eines Druckwerks der Druckmaschine bereitgestellt wird.
