Definitions

  • the invention relates to a rotary printing press and to a method for producing a newspaper product in tabloid format according to the preamble of claims 1 and 13, respectively.
  • Individual pages or sections of printed products, in particular newspaper products in broadsheet format, such as title pages, for example, can be promoted by means of various pre-folding devices, such as a plow fold, which produce additional longitudinal folds.
  • folds across the reading seam break can provide interesting, promotional areas for newspaper products in tabloid format, provided that suitable folding elements for the inside and outside of the newspaper product are used. Also desirable would be insides with edges labeled pop-ups at the top and / or bottom of the newspaper product over the title page.
  • WO 2005/105447 A1 is a rotary printing machine, with the printed products in a special format with Pflugfalz, resulting in present in the folded state in tabloid printed matter, can be produced.
  • a plate cylinder is equipped with over its entire length reaching printing plates, which each have a narrow print image in the frontal area and in the middle area printed images in a horizontal tabloid format.
  • a special width web is printed centrally with four tabloid pages next to each other and in its border areas, whose width corresponds to approximately half the height of a tabloid page, with half tabloid sides lying as well. Overall, this results in about a five times the height of a tabloid page corresponding web width.
  • the edge regions of the web are first folded by a Pflugfalz each, before the now lying four tabloid broad web in the middle along two equal width partial webs is cut.
  • the two partial webs, which have already been folded in each case in one edge region, are then either superimposed and guided on a common former, or straight on a group of two formers.
  • the one or more former folds the existing from the superimposed partial webs strand or the partial webs centrally opposite to the direction of Pflugfalzes.
  • a transverse fold can be performed. This results in printed products with two folded back and back spine longitudinally folded tabloid sides and folded against the Tabloiditate Einfalzung.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a rotary printing press and a method for producing a newspaper product in tabloid format.
  • a rotary printing press accordingly comprises at least one printing unit or at least one printing unit, which (s) a material web, for. B. paper web, short web lying in the tabloid format printed such that the web or at least one obtained by slitting the web sub-web preferably at least over half their width in a side height broad, lying tabloid format and in a at least one side of a page height wide subsequent lying edge area is printed, and the rotary printing machine a folding unit with a first edge region of the printed web or sub-path einfalzenden plow fold, and a Pflugfalz downstream, at least transversely to the web running direction, preferably over the entire web width adjustable and optionally on a the the first edge region opposite side of the web or sub-web arranged, second edge region in the same direction as the first edge region einfalzenden folding funnel, for producing a newspaper product in tabloid format with at least one at K and at the bottom of at least one inside of the newspaper product arranged in the same direction across a fold folded Einfalteung
  • the printed edge region essentially refers to a transverse to the web running direction at least on one side next to a printed tabloid with a printed strip strip of the web or partial web, which is fed to the plow fold and the orderly adjustable former. If the Pflugfalz and after the adjustable adjustable former fed a obtained by slitting a printed web sub-web, so are the or the edge areas or strips not necessarily at the edges of the printed web, but at the edges of the Partial web.
  • the printed in lying tabloid format strips and the at least one edge strips comprehensive print image of the sub-web can lie at any point within the web.
  • An advantage achievable with the invention is that the pages preferably located in the newspaper product by means of the Pflugfalzes on the foot and / or by means of supernatant on the funnel nose of preferably having as a hopper cone of at least two Falztrichterebenen folding folder, transversely adjustable to the web running folder at the top of the pages can be taken to a dependent on the lateral position of the adjustable former and the adjustment of Pflugfalzes, as well as the width of the web or partial web amount.
  • advertising-effective Einfalzonne can be produced in a newspaper product in tabloid format.
  • the Einfalzonne can also serve to separate sections within the newspaper product from each other.
  • the folding unit preferably has at least two stacking hopper layers lying one above the other, the adjustable folding hopper being designed as a hopper arranged in an upper folding hopper level above a lower folding hopper level.
  • the guided over the Pflugfalz and the former hopper web or sub-web can be placed anywhere on, under or between or over the lower formers running webs or sub-webs to place the provided with the Einfalzitch pages anywhere in the newspaper product can.
  • adjustable folding hopper is arranged in alignment above the or of the former of the lower folder level.
  • An advantageous embodiment of the rotary printing press provides that the adjustable former is designed to be wide, so that newspaper products in tabloid format can be produced in the finished newspaper product inside pages with a larger page height, which then survive as pop-ups on the head over the other pages of the newspaper product ,
  • the adjustable former can also be arranged to be adjustable longitudinally to the web running direction of the web or partial web to produce pop-ups on the head, where the ceremoniurlöcher - as desired in tabloid products - not in the title page, but in the back of the product.
  • the folding unit of the rotary printing press preferably comprises at least one longitudinal cutting device, which cuts a part of the web remaining after the separation of the plow fold and the subsequent adjustable folding former in each case a tabloid side height wide partial webs, wherein the folding unit at least one further, preferably in one arranged at least two side by side, a tabloid side height wide partial webs are guided such that the dividing line between the adjacent partial webs runs over the funnel nose of the lower form the folding hopper.
  • the folding unit of the rotary printing machine can also at least one guided over the Pflugfalz and the adjustable former or web, as well as optionally via at least one other former of the folding unit guided tracks or partial webs to a strand summarizing and in sections with a double Tabloidiserbreite corresponding length transversely cutting cutting cylinder pair and at least one of the sections transverse to the web direction folding Falzylinderpres include.
  • the adjustable former is preferably arranged such that the web or partial web is folded with folded edge portions in the incoming into the cutting cylinder strand under at least one other former of the folding unit guided webs or partial webs, so that the at least one Einfalzung either on the panoramic side of the finished Newspaper product comes to rest.
  • the folding unit of the rotary printing press on means for perforation and / or for cutting the Einfalzung in the region of the transverse fold can comprise a rhythmically running perforation and / or cutting device arranged in the web running direction in front of the adjustable former, which perforates and / or cuts open the fold in the area of the transverse fold.
  • the printed by the printing unit or the printing unit web or obtained by slitting a printed web sub-web is preferably two Tabloid Abun wide. As a result, no special format for the web width is needed because the total width of the web can then correspond to an integer multiple of a Tabloidratiold.
  • the printed by the printing unit or the printing unit web is an even multiple of a Tabloidtime Hab wide, is obtained from the longitudinal cutting at least two tabloid side heights broad part web, which can be fed to the Pflugfalz with downstream, adjustable former, the sum of the widths of the Pflugfalz and edge areas of a tabloid side height hemmed in by the adjustable former, to obtain on the finished newspaper product folds on the head and / or foot of an inner double page covering the entire inner sides of the double side.
  • An advantageous embodiment of the rotary printing press provides that the web is six tabloid side heights wide, the part path guided over the plow fold and the adjustable former is one third as wide as the web, and the plow fold and the former each extend one twelfth of the original web width Fold in the edge region of the partial web in order to obtain on the finished newspaper product Einfalzept on the head and the foot of an inner double page, which cover the entire inner double page.
  • a particular advantage of the two last-mentioned embodiments is that no special widths of substrate webs, in particular newspaper products, require no special paper rolls. It is sufficient, for example, at a six tabloid side heights wide web to separate a one-third-wide partial web and lead to the Pflugfalz and the adjustable former.
  • the adjustable former has to be moved laterally so that its funnel nose is exactly one-twelfth of the original web width within the edge of the sub-web opposite the plow fold.
