Abstract

Bei einem System (1) zur Reduzierung akustischer Störungen mit Mitteln zum akustischen Erfassen eines in einem Zielbereich vorliegenden Schallsignals (S), Mitteln zur Abgabe eines akustischen Maskierungssignals (G) in den Zielbereich sowie eine Steuereinheit (4) zur Ansteuerung der Mittel zur Abgabe des akustischen Maskierungssignals (G), derart, dass innerhalb des Zielbereichs eine akustische Störung reduziert bzw. maskiert wird, ist die Steuereinheit (4) dazu ausgebildet, das erfasste Schallsignal (S) auf das Vorhandensein von Sprachsignalen hin zu analysieren, wobei das Maskierungssignal (G) lediglich dann abgegeben wird, wenn durch die Steuereinheit (4) das Vorliegen von Sprachsignalen erkannt wurde.
