Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schleifschuhbelag (101; 201; 301; 401; 601; 701; 801a, 801b), insbesondere zur Verwendung mit einem Schleifschuh (2) zum Anpressen von Schleifbändern (5) an Werkstücke (3) in Segment- und Breitbandschleifmaschinen (1), der mindestens eine ebene, gepolsterte und gleitfähige Anpressfläche (114; 714) aufweist, sowie einen Schleifschuh (2) zur Aufnahme eines Schleifschuhbelags (101; 201; 301; 401; 601; 701; 801a, 801b) und ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Schleifschuhbelags (101; 201; 301; 401; 601; 701; 801a, 801b).
Mit einem erfindungsgemässen Schleifschuhbelag (101; 201; 301; 401; 601; 701; 801a, 801b), der einen Belagträger (111; 211; 311; 411; 611; 811a, 811b) aus nichtmetallischem Material umfasst und/oder der eine elastische Gleitschicht aufweist, wird eine Verbesserung hinsichtlich der Betriebskosten zu erzielt, da der Schleifschuhbelag (101; 201; 301; 401; 601; 701; 801a, 801b) einen einfachen Aufbau besitzt, der auf kostengünstigen Ausgangsmaterialien basiert, preiswert herzustellen und ohne Aufwand zu entsorgen ist. Gleichzeitig werden die Anforderungen an die Funktion in Segment- und Breitbandschleifmaschinen erfüllt und die Handhabbarkeit für das Personal beim Austauschen, Neubestücken und Entsorgen wird erleichtert.
