Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sitzmöbel (1), insbesondere Sessel, mit einer Rückenlehne (2), einem Sitz (3) und einem Fußteil (4) , wobei die Rückenlehne (2) und das Fußteil (4) schwenkbar angeordnet sind, wobei die Rückenlehne (2) und das Fußteil (4) unterhalb des Sitzes (3) über ein Koppelgestänge (6) miteinander verbunden sind, wobei das Koppelgestänge (6) zum Übertragen einer Schwenkbewegung der Rückenlehne (2) auf das Fußteil (4) ausgebildet ist, wobei das Koppelgestänge (6) zwischen einer Sitzstellung mit steiler gestellter Rückenlehne (2) und eingeschwenktem Fußteil (4) sowie einer Liegestellung mit flacher gestellter Rückenlehne (2) und ausgeschwenktem Fußteil (4) verstellbar ist. Um das Sitzmöbel einfacher und kostengünstiger fertigen zu können, ohne den Komfort beim Verstellen des Sitzmöbels zu beeinträchtigen, ist vorgesehen, dass das Koppelgestänge (6) derart mit einem Federmittel verbunden ist, dass die Rückstellkraft des Federmittels in der Sitzstellung des Koppelgestänges (6) einer Verstellung hin zur Liegestellung und in der Liegestellung des Koppelgestänges (6) einer Verstellung hin zur Sitzstellung entgegenwirkt.
