Abstract

Die Kunstrasenbahn (1) zum Bilden einer Kunstrasenlinie auf einem Boden (14), vorzugsweise einem Rasensportplatz, besteht aus einer langgestreckten textilen Trägerbahn (3), die einen sich in Längsrichtung der textilen Trägerbahn (3) erstreckenden Faserabschnitt (6) und zwei Seitenabschnitte (4) aufweist, wobei die Seitenabschnitte (4) jeweils seitlich von dem Faserabschnitt (6) und parallel zu dem Faserabschnitt (6) angeordnet sind und jeweils zu einer sich in Längsrichtung der textilen Trägerbahn (3) erstreckenden Falte (17) umschlagbar sind, und mehreren Kunstrasenfasern (9), die an dem Faserabschnitt (6) angeordnet sind und mehrere parallele Reihen (7) von Kunstrasenfasern (9) bilden, wobei jede Reihe (7) von Kunstrasenfasern (9) in Längsrichtung der Trägerbahn (3) verläuft und die Kunstrasenfasern (9) von einer Oberfläche (8) des Faserabschnitts (6) der Trägerbahn (3) abstehen. Im gefalteten Zustand der Kunstrasenbahn (1) sind die Falten (17) jeweils in eine Furche (15) in dem Boden (14) zur Befestigung der Kunstrasenlinie (1) einsetzbar, derart, dass der Faserabschnitt (6) zumindest teilweise einen Bereich (14a) des Bodens (14) überdeckt.
