Die erfindungsgemäße Befestigung der Filtereinheit an der Ölwanne erfolgt bevorzugt zwischen einem Abschnitt des Filtergehäuses und einem Abschnitt der Innenfläche bzw. Innenseite der Ölwanne, insbesondere derart, dass eine Unterseite des Filtergehäuses der Innenfläche der Ölwanne zumindest abschnittsweise zugewandt ist.
