Abstract

Eine erfmdungsgemässe Einrichtung ist sowohl zum Anbringen an bereits vorhandenen Holzfeuerungen als auch als Bauteil neu hergestellter Holzfeuerungen geeignet. Solche Holzfeuerungen weisen eine Brennkammer (2) oder Brennstelle auf, an welcher das Holzfeuer brennen soll, sowie eine Luftzufuhr (4) in die Brennkammer und eine Gasabführleitung (5, 7, 8), die meist einen Kamin (8) und oft auch ein in diesen mündendes Ofenrohr (7) aufweist. Die erfindungsgemässe Einrichtung zeichnet sich im Wesentlichen dadurch aus, dass sie ein ausserhalb der Gasabführleitung (5, 7, 8) angeordnetes Gasfördermittel (11) aufweist, welches Umgebungsluft über eine Luftzuführleitung (12, 13, 14, 15) in die Gasabführleitung (5, 7, 8) fördert und zwar so, dass an der Mündung der Luftzuführleitung in die Gasabführleitung (5, 7, 8) die Luftströmung eine zur Strömungsrichtung der Verbrennungsgase parallele Komponente aufweist. Die Luftzuführleitung (12, 13, 14, 15) hat mindestens im Bereich der Mündung in die Gasabführleitung eine deutlich kleinere Querschnittsfläche als die Gasabführleitung.
