Definitions

  • the invention relates to devices for generating marking lines consisting of many individual marking material portions, wherein the marking material portions can be dispensed from a nozzle arrangement connected to a marking material source with a plurality of dispensing nozzles arranged side by side transversely to a direction of movement of the device by means of compressed air.
  • Such a device produces marking lines consisting of rows of small marking material portions of conventional two-component marking material, e.g. on roads.
  • the marking material portions are applied to a nozzle beam apparatus known in the art, which is equipped with a series of nozzles arranged transversely to the direction of movement of the apparatus, which are filled from a marking material source via feed channels with the mixed bi-component marking material and at regular intervals Help from supplied via another channel opening into the nozzle channel compressed air blasts in the direction of the surface to be coated, such as road surface, be emptied.
  • a mixing device Upstream of the nozzle bar of the device is a mixing device to which the two marking material components are supplied, which form a chemically reacting, namely curing mixture during and after the flow through the mixer, which therefore have only a limited residence time in the system until discharge from the nozzles may.
  • the residence time is usually between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on the type of marking material and the mixing ratio set.
  • the document WO 98/51864 A1 shows a marking device of the type mentioned with two spray guns for high-viscosity marking material.
  • the pistols bring out a continuous spray with the help of compressed air.
  • compressed air By changing the material pressure and air pressure, different types of marking lines can be created.
  • the compressed air and the marking material are always applied continuously.
  • the documents WO 99/29964 A1 and US 2001/023876 A1 show marking devices with several spray guns for the discharge of the marking material, wherein the complete spray guns are variable in position relative to each other.
  • this is done concretely by means of the arrangement of the spray guns on a rod on which the spray guns are displaceable and can be fixed by means of clamping screws.
  • individual spray gun modules are connected in series with one another directly or with spacer plates interposed, forming a continuous material feed channel. By different thickness spacer plates, the distance can be varied.
  • the document EP 0 632 166 A1 describes an applicator for road marking machines for high viscosity markers.
  • this known application device is a device for applying high-viscosity markers which are pressed through outlet openings.
  • the housing elements comprising the outlet openings are, however, here not applicable to a nozzle arrangement and detachable from this nozzle elements.
  • a first device has a housing bottom provided with outlet openings and a single or a plurality of sliding relative to the housing bottom, the outlet cross-sections of the outlet openings in locomotion the device periodically changing relative to the surface (s) slide on.
  • a second device has a hollow cylinder rotatably drivable in the interior of a housing chamber provided with a passage opening in a housing wall and provided with passages in the cylinder jacket, with its cylinder jacket slidably adjacent to two passage opening edges.
  • One of the disadvantages of some devices is that the distance of the marking material portions transverse to the longitudinal direction of the marking line is unchangeable.
  • the desirability of the width of the marking line and the diameter of the individual heaps varies between the individual clients for such lines.
  • the lines of marking material portions are applied to previously applied sprayed flat lines of paint, and often no protrusion of the marking material portions over the edges of these lines is tolerated.
  • the full width of the previously applied line for the subsequently applied Mark istsmaterialportionen should be exploited to the edges.
  • Another drawback is the large amount of detergent used in eliminating clogging of individual nozzles during a marker insert and in cleaning the device after a marker insert has been completed.
  • the rinsing procedure is very time-consuming, because from the entire system the marking material in mixture and thus in a curing reaction has to be rinsed out, which requires a large amount of rinsing agent at a high flow rate.
  • Detergents are expensive and polluting and must be collected below the nozzles and disposed of as hazardous.
  • the flushing agent seeks the easy path through the unclogged nozzles and often flushes the clogged nozzles and thus often eliminates clogging.
  • the nozzle beam is provided with a marking material channel Distributor upstream, from which each nozzle of the nozzle beam is supplied via a separate line with marking material.
  • a commercial ball valve is arranged, with which the connection between the material distributor and nozzle can be interrupted.
  • ball valves have the important advantage of the straight passage in the open position for the marking material in reaction, in the blocking position, marking material trapped in the ball bore and between the seals hardens and renders the cock useless.
  • a commercial ball valve needs a supply and a derivative.
  • Ball valves are therefore unsuitable because of their principle of operation and especially in the aforementioned arrangement as a selection valve for switching on and off the marking material supply for the individual nozzles.
  • the ball valves arranged in the known device in the marking material lines to the nozzles are only suitable for flushing the system for the complete flushing of all nozzles, the flushing process starts with all taps on passage and successively those cocks are closed, from the connected Nozzle clean detergent emerges.
  • the nozzles together with their supply lines can thus be rinsed one after the other in the order of their resistance opposite to the detergent.
  • the remaining not flushed nozzles then acts in each case the entire available detergent pressure and that while until each of the least of the remaining resistances is overcome and after the flushing of the respective nozzle her upstream ball valve can be closed.
  • the device After removing a blockage but the device is far from ready to start again. To resume work, the device must again be completely filled with marking material mixture in the correct mixture, starting with the mixing device to the nozzles, which usually until the correct mixture is achieved, it is necessary to spray a more or less large initial amount into a collecting trough.
  • the object is to provide devices which avoid single or simultaneously several of the above-mentioned disadvantages of the known devices and with which, individually or in combination with each other, in particular a high readiness to deliver, easy adaptability of the distances of the marking material for the individual case of need and an adjustment of the distances of the marking material portions by the operators of the device on site and the rapid provision of necessary for the various line widths device parts can be achieved.
  • the individual discharge nozzles are located in nozzle elements which can be attached individually to the nozzle arrangement and which can be removed from the nozzle arrangement.
  • the invention thus provides variable and also on the spot in the marking insert variable nozzle arrangements available that allow easy and quick adaptation to different requirements in the production of different marking lines from a variety of Markmaterialmaterialportionen.
  • the individual nozzle elements with an unchangeable lateral distance to each other on a common mount releasably mounted or attachable.
