Definitions
- the invention relates to a power supply system for
- the invention relates to a method for the control of a
- Plug-in hybrids are hybrid vehicles with a larger storage for electrical energy that can be recharged from the electrical grid. Such vehicles therefore require a mains connection for connection to the mains during the charging process.
- the aim is to make the charging as short as possible, since the vehicle users are based on their comfort expectations at the relatively short refueling stops for refueling with gasoline or diesel fuel.
- the loading time can be kept as short as possible, when the maximum possible power is taken from the power grid. From today's point of view, the net withdrawal capacity is usually the limiting factor, especially in the private sector.
- today available for a charge of the energy storage power outlet is secured with a fuse that triggers when the permissible current is exceeded and then manually turned on again.
- the maximum permissible charging current which can be taken from the network, must therefore be known to the vehicle when an energy store to be charged is connected. Only then can the charging process be fast and smooth. This is particularly important if the vehicle is to be charged not only at the domestic socket, but at any sockets, for example, at work, in a parking garage, at a gas station or the like.
- the charging process abroad is also to be regarded as particularly critical, because it has to calculate with different mains voltages, different mains frequency, different maximum current and different network configuration. Admittedly, the parameters mains voltage and mains frequency could now be detected comparatively easily by the on-board charging circuit. However, this does not readily apply to the maximum charging current that can be taken from the mains via the currently used mains socket.
- the charging current could now generally be limited to a relatively small value, which could be provided virtually anytime, even under the most adverse conditions, at any available charging outlet. However, this would result in a relatively long charging process.
- Another alternative would be to attach signs with admissible ones
- a plug-in hybrid vehicle is further known that is connectable to a power supply network such that a bidirectional flow of energy is made possible.
- the invention has for its object to provide an energy supply system for electric vehicles, which allows the fastest possible and reliable charging of an electric vehicle to a public power grid.
- the invention is based on the recognition that can be optimized in the desired sense by an automatic and thus largely free of operating errors transmission of the permissible operating parameters of the network to the vehicle at the initiation of the charging process.
- a method for controlling a power supply system is disclosed in claim 12.
- the invention offers the advantage that the driver of an electric vehicle also feels the charging process of the on-board energy store to be as comfortable as a conventional refueling stop for refueling a vehicle with diesel or petrol.
- the said operating parameters transmitted by a suitable coding of a plug-in connection, which, for example, in a network connection station, between a mobile plug and a fixedly arranged power outlet is made.
- the socket can advantageously mechanical coding
- Operating parameters also shown on the display of the navigation system.
- the operating parameters can also be transmitted wirelessly or contactlessly by means of a transponder system or with a mobile telephone.
- a transponder system or with a mobile telephone.
- the location of free parking spaces with network connection stations and the respective permissible operating parameters for the charging process can advantageously already be indicated in the entry area. It is also conceivable targeted guidance of an incoming vehicle to an optimally suitable free parking space with Net zanschlus s station. Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description, the claims and the drawings.

- FIG. 6 shows a parking garage with mains connection stations and a display device.
- the electric vehicle 1 shows, in a schematic representation, a power supply system 100 for an electric vehicle 1.
- the electric vehicle 1 is here representative of a multiplicity of electric vehicles which use the energy supply system 100 according to the invention.
- the energy supply system 100 includes all of the electric vehicles 1 shared, in particular stationary components and on-board, so mobile components.
- the shared components comprise at least one particular stationary power source for the power delivery, for example a power plant 3, and a power supply network 3.1 connected to the energy source.
- the power supply system 100 further comprises at least one power connection station 2.
- the power connection station 2 enables a plug connection between a stationary power outlet 3.2 and an on-board connector 1.3, the energy transfer between the fixed power supply network 3.1 and a mobile consumer.
- the energy supply system 100 further comprises at least one electric vehicle 1 with at least one on-board energy store 1.1, in particular at least one rechargeable battery, and with at least one charging device 1.2.
- the power supply of the electric vehicle 1 from the fixed power supply network 3.1 is made by making an electrically conductive or inductive connection by means of the connector 1.3, 3.2 in a network connection station 2. Due to the above-mentioned problem for loading the most accurate knowledge of the operating parameters of the fixed power supply network is necessary To prevent overloading the power grid and as fast as possible on-board charging
- the core of the invention is the automatic transmission of the permissible operating parameters of the energy supply network 3.1 available for the charging of the on-board energy storage device 3.1. This is, according to the inventive teaching, possible by means of several embodiments, which are described in more detail below.
- FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the contact side of a stationarily arranged in a network connection station 2
- Socket 3.2 The poles of the socket 3.2, which are intended to receive the pins 3 of the plug 1.3 are denoted by dl, d2.
- the permissible operating parameters in the Production of the connector 1.3, 3.2 are transmitted in the power connection station 2 by a mechanical design coding of the fixed power outlet 3.2 is detected by the mobile connector 1.3.
- Said coding can be embodied, for example, in the form of radially projecting lugs a1, a2, a3 (FIG. 2), which are sensed by form-adapted recesses in the plug 1.3.
- coding elements for example in the form of grooves, grooves, bores or the like, which are scanned by form-matched complementary structures on the side of the plug 1.3.
- a color coding b can be arranged on the socket 3.2, which is read out by a corresponding sensor in the plug 1.3.
- a bar code characterizing the operating parameters can be arranged on the socket, which in turn is detected by a sensor arranged in the plug 1.3.
- Navigation system equipped electric vehicle 1 the location of a grid connection station and the operating parameters to be observed are also displayed on the display of the navigation system.
- FIG. 3 schematically illustrates the screen 30 of a navigation system.
- a designated by reference numeral 33 power connection station is, as shown on the display, in the immediate vicinity of an intersection of two roads 31, 32.
- the energy supply system also be configured such that the respective state of charge of the energy storage 1.1 is detected and the depending on the state of charge still achievable network connection stations are particularly highlighted.
- the operating parameters can also be transmitted by a code which is superimposed on the voltage curve of the charging voltage U provided in the network connection station.
- a code which is superimposed on the voltage curve of the charging voltage U provided in the network connection station.
- FIG. 4 in which, in a diagram, the voltage curve (voltage U) is shown as a function of the time t.
- the voltage U is superimposed on a coding 40 in the form of voltage pulses which can be read by the charging device 1.2.
- Receiving device 50b may be provided in the connector 1.3.
- the transponder system can advantageously act by means of inductive coupling, by means of high-frequency signal transmission or be designed as an infrared interface.
- FIG. 6 shows, for example, a parking garage 60 which is equipped with power supply stations 61a, 61b, 61c, 61d associated with individual parking spaces.
- a display device are displayed on the free parking spaces with network connection station and the corresponding operating parameters. Conceivable here is also a targeted guidance of a driving electric vehicle to an optimally suitable parking space by the operating parameters of the available network connection stations are adjusted by data transmission with the vehicle parameters already at the entrance of the electric vehicle.
- An inventive energy supply system for an electric vehicle according to the invention can be controlled as follows. At the latest when producing a plug connection between an on-board connector 1.3 and a stationary socket 3.2 in a network connection station 2 permissible operating parameters of the fixed power supply network 3.1 are transmitted to the on-board charging device 1.2. The charging device 1.2 then controls the charging process of the onboard
- Energy storage 1.1 such that the charging process runs as fast as possible without overloading the fixed power supply network 3.1 inadmissible.
