Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abstandhalter zur Beabstandung von Glasscheiben in einer Isolierglaseinheit, mit einem formflexiblen, länglichen Grundkörper (12), welcher sich im Wesentlichen entlang einer Längsrichtung (14) erstreckt, die in montiertem Zustand parallel zu den auf Abstand zu haltenden Glasscheiben verläuft, wobei der Grundkörper (12) zwei Seitenflächen zur Anlange an den Glasscheiben und quer zu den Seitenflächen eine sich im Wesentlichen in Längsrichtung (14) erstreckende Unterseite aufweist, wobei an der Unterseite ein plattenförmiges Sperrelement (18) angeordnet ist, welches als Wasserdampf- und Gasdiffusionssperre dient, wobei das plattenförmige Sperrelement (18) eine quer zur Längsrichtung (14) ausgerichtete Riffelung aufweist.
