Definitions

  • the invention relates to a plug part for an electrical connector, which is designed to receive a cable and to connect to a further plug part of the plug connector, and which comprises a housing part, in which the cable extends with its front end, wherein the cable in the housing is held by a holding device. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for mounting a plug part for an electrical connector.
  • a connector is for example from the DE 20 2008 013 795 U1 known.
  • the attachment of cables in a plug part, in particular a housing part of the plug part, is an essential prerequisite for a reliable operating principle and a high number of low-wear feasible separating and connecting plug parts of the connector.
  • An inventive plug part for an electrical connector is designed to receive a cable and to connect to a further plug part of the connector.
  • the plug part comprises a housing part into which the cable extends with its front end.
  • the cable is held in the housing part by a holding device.
  • the holding device comprises a securing ring for axially securing the position of further separate components arranged in the housing part.
  • the securing ring is supported in the assembled end state of the plug part on an inner side of the housing part in such a way that an axial holding force is applied for axially securing the position of the components. It is thus created axial securing, which is self-holding.
  • the components may comprise a seal and / or a support element and / or a shield connection. There may also be provided other elements.
  • the circlip can be supported on a smooth inner side of the housing part and in which case a certain clawing of the circlip in the material of the inner side is formed by the insertion, so that the axial holding force is generated and held.
  • the material of the housing part at least in the area in which the support and connection with the retaining ring occurs softer than the retaining ring. It can also be provided that on the inside of the housing part in this area a specific softer material insert is introduced as a separate component in the housing part, in particular embedded.
  • At least one, in particular a plurality of securing grooves are formed, in which locking teeth of the locking ring engage for supporting and generating the axial holding force. This allows a particularly durable holding and large axial counter forces resisting positional fixation.
  • the holding device comprises a securing ring, which surrounds the cable on the circumferential side and which has a plurality of securing teeth.
  • the locking ring further comprises a base ring, on which the securing teeth are arranged, and from which they are formed projecting outwards.
  • the securing teeth of the securing ring are engaging in a securing groove, wherein the securing groove is formed on an inner side of the housing part.
  • the proposed connection with the housing part also act to the effect particularly advantageous because during assembly of the plug part a very specific and defined insertion of the locking ring, which surrounds the cable can be done in the axial direction and thereby almost automatically and particularly defined and precise locking in a security groove can be done location exactly.
  • the securing teeth in the uninstalled state of the securing ring at an angle greater than 2 ° and less than 24 °, in particular between 2 ° and 14 °, are arranged inclined relative to the plane of the base ring.
  • the safety teeth are thus almost pre-bent in an embodiment of the locking ring in the uninstalled state and arranged inclined in a certain radial oblique position to the outside. This is advantageous in that thereby the reliable holding in the securing groove and the particularly defined locking can be ensured during assembly and thereby then due to the special mounting position of the Si tion ring quasi by the safety teeth a kind of barbs are formed.
  • a particularly position-fixing holder is made possible in the housing part.
  • the securing teeth in the uninstalled state of the securing ring extend in the plane of the base ring. In such a configuration is thus in the uninstalled state of the locking ring no inclination of the safety teeth or at least only some of the safety teeth no such inclination but only provided in strictly radial orientation orientation of the safety teeth.
  • the securing teeth are arranged in the installed final state of the locking ring in the housing part at an angle between 3 ° and less than 25 °, in particular between 3 ° and 15 °, inclined relative to the plane of the base ring.
  • a Sich ceremoniessnute is V-shaped in section, so that when inclined position of the securing teeth these teeth, in particular with their front edges invest in the notch or adjacent to the notch on a wall of the V-shape or support and in particular the outer surfaces of the securing teeth over a large area against the rear wall of the V-shape.
  • the securing teeth and the retaining ring are formed in terms of shape and / or material so that the inclination of the securing teeth in the installed final state of the locking ring in the housing part is greater than the possibly existing inclination in the uninstalled state.
  • the securing teeth when assembling the male part and when engaging in a securing groove in their position consciously bendable and thus can change their position in terms of inclination. The position-fixing locking and the precise positioning with the functionality of particularly stable holding barbs in the form of the safety teeth is achieved.
  • the retaining ring is integrally formed. It is preferably formed of a metal.
  • a number greater than 4 such securing teeth is formed on the base ring of the locking ring.
  • the number of securing teeth is preferably less than 15, in particular less than 8.
  • the securing teeth are formed in a particularly advantageous manner as plate-like strips. They preferably have an equal width over their entire length.
  • the front edge of such a safety tooth is preferably substantially rectilinear and has rounded corner areas. It can also be provided that the front edge is slightly arcuate, for example, it can be provided that this arcuate configuration is adapted to the arc shape of the securing groove. A particularly precise and positive mechanical contacting of a safety tooth when engaging in a safety groove can be ensured.
  • the inclined locking teeth are inclined in the direction of the then rear end of the housing part and are oriented accordingly.
  • the plug part comprises a support ring, in which the retaining ring is inserted.
  • the support ring quasi an additional support for the retaining ring is thus created, wherein the support ring is assigned as a component of the holding device.
  • the support ring is preferably formed of plastic and manufactured in one piece.
  • the support ring comprises a circumferential ridge, which has interruptions, through which the securing teeth can extend in the inserted state of the locking ring in the support ring radially outward.
  • Such a configuration can thus be achieved in a particularly advantageous manner, a possible uniform bending of all securing teeth in the same direction and substantially the same angle.
  • a particularly symmetrical and centered position-fixed arrangement of the components and also of the securing ring in the housing part can be created.
  • the support ring on the side provided for receiving the securing ring opposite side has a circumferential receiving area for a seal.
  • the seal is thus at least partially arranged to extend into the support ring, when the plug part is assembled. Also, thus, the seal can thus be protected from unwanted tilting or twisting and thus is virtually completely axial and centered in the housing part.
  • the receiving area for the seal is in particular funnel-shaped or conical.
  • the seal is preferably formed as an annular bead and thus with a curved outer surface.
  • the seal is in particular made of an elastic material, for example of an elastomer.

  • each of these Sich mecanicsnute is formed as completely encircling the inside.
  • the number of securing grooves is less than 10, preferably between 3 and 6.
  • This can be formed by means of a housing part a plurality of plug-part variants, which are characterized for example by different cables. It can thus be provided that a variety of cable types can be locked in the housing part, and although they are different, all can be fixed in position almost quasi. Due to the plurality of securing grooves, it is possible for securing teeth to be latched into the respectively suitable securing groove depending on the cable to be fixed in position.
  • a cable with a first diameter is provided for the obstruction in a housing part and pressed into the housing part with a defined axial press-in force, then the locking ring locks with its safety teeth in a first securing groove provided for this purpose.
