Definitions

  • the invention relates to a disc railing, are held by means of the discs clamped in their foot area, so that can be dispensed with railing post.
  • Corresponding glass pane railings are for example from DE 20 2007 009 239 U1 or the WO 2009/003452 A1 known.
  • the glass pane - which may for example consist of two interconnected as in particular glued together individual slices - in a glass pane holding clamped holding U-profile.
  • the inner walls of this U-profile are planar.
  • the foot area of the glass pane is edged with a plastic U-shaped profile body, which is inserted into the U-profile before the glass pane is installed. Subsequently, by means of wedge-like inserts, an exact and tilt-proof alignment of the glass pane takes place.
  • the U-shaped profile body which comprises the foot region of the glass pane, extends on both sides of the glass pane into the mouth region of the U-profile.
  • the present invention seeks to provide an improved window railing that can be produced economically cheap and allows the simplest possible and quick installation.
  • a holding device in the upper free edge region of at least one of the two legs of the U-profile.
  • a spacer can be attached, so that the relevant spacer is held at its predetermined distance from the bottom of the U-profile.
  • the holding device may be formed as an undercut at least in one of the two legs of the U-profile.
  • an undercut hook training can be mounted on the spacer, so that the spacer member can be positioned securely on the leg of the U-profile.
  • the holding device may be formed in at least one of the two legs of the U-profile as a groove.
  • the spacer member could have a corresponding spring, which in the Groove of the U-profile can be inserted or inserted to secure the spacer member secure against the leg of the U-profile.
  • the groove of the U-profile does not have to be completely filled by the spring of the spacer, but it may be sufficient to form the spring slightly shorter than the groove.
  • the spring could be at least partially formed slightly wider than the groove, so that the spring would have to be compressed in order to be inserted into the groove can.
  • the spring could have an approximately horizontal slot, whereby the spring would spread easily within the groove.
  • At least one of the two spacer members may be formed as a spacer and have an approximately constant wall thickness.
  • a spacer simplifies the installation of the disc railing, as a rapid positioning of the spacer to the holding devices is possible.
  • a spacer can be provided as a spacer on both sides of the disc.
  • the spacer should preferably be provided only on one side of the disc.
  • At least one of the two spacer members is formed in two parts.
  • the first part of the spacer can be fastened to the holding device and can have an approximately wedge-shaped cross section, whereby the wall thickness of this first part of the spacer increases towards the bottom - in the direction of the bottom of the U-profile.
  • the second part of the spacer may be wedge-shaped. This second part of the spacer can be inserted between the first part of the spacer and the disc, with an orientation of the disc is possible by a different depth positioning of the second part of the spacer.
  • the second part of the spacer could also be designed rod-shaped.
  • the wedge-shaped first part of the distance member may preferably have a plurality of projections which are arranged at a mutual distance, so that a lower projection in each case protrudes further into the interior of the U-profile in the direction transverse to the disk plane with respect to an upper projection.
  • the first part of the spacer has an upwardly open slot. After attachment of the first part of the spacer to the holding device of the U-profile, the wedge-shaped second part of the spacer can be inserted into this slot from above.
  • the second part of the spacer would be positioned in this case between the two wall portions of the first part of the spacer and press these wall portions apart. By positioning the second part of the distance member at different depths, alignment of the pane can also be effected in this case.
  • an approximately wedge-shaped projection is formed on the inside of at least one of the legs of the U-profile, which acts as a holding device for a spacer.
  • This wedge-shaped projection should have a wall thickness tapering upwards away from the bottom of the U-profile. Between the wedge-shaped projection of the leg of the U-profile and the disc, a wedge-shaped spacer can be inserted. By positioning the spacer at different depths, alignment of the disk can also be achieved.
  • the upper mouth region of the U-profile can be covered on both sides of the disc by a cover profile.
  • This cover profile can prevent the ingress of moisture, for example by rain, and ensure a visually appealing completion of the U-profile.
  • the cover can be supported on a load capacity spacer.
  • the cover profile can be attached to a projection or to a holding device in a positive and / or non-positive manner.
  • the cover profile can be integrally connected to the spacer member. Cover profile and spacer can thus be mounted in a single step; a subsequent reworking of the upper mouth region of the U-profile is not required.
  • a glass sheet railing 10 is with its foot portion in cross-section fragmentary in Fig. 1 shown.
  • the right and left legs 24, 26 of the U-section 22 are planar in the present example and protrude to form a respective fillet at right angles from a bottom 28 of the U-profile forming web upwards.
  • the U-profile could also be funnel-shaped at least in its lower region. The wall thickness of the two legs would in this case from a certain point downwards - in the direction of the bottom of the U-profile - easily increase.
  • the two legs 24, 26 of the U-profile 22 may be different lengths.
  • the inner, right leg 24 could be lower than the outer, left leg 26, in particular for optical reasons.
  • the glass pane 18 is held clamped with its foot 20. To this end, the glass pane 18 is enclosed tightly in its lower edge region 30 by a U-shaped profile body 32.
  • This U-shaped profile body 32 has a bottom 34 with two upwardly projecting walls 36, 38.
  • the bottom 34 has a pitched roof-shaped form .
  • the lower wall portions 40,42 each having an outer fillet, outwardly against the two legs 24, 26 of the U-profile 22. In this way, a play-free contact of the foot portion 20 of the glass pane 18 in the bottom area of the U-profile 22 and thus in the lower edge region 30 of the glass pane 18 possible.
  • the walls 36, 38 of the U-shaped profile body 32 can be made comparatively short in comparison to the two legs 24, 26 of the U-profile 22, as can be seen in FIG Fig. 1 is shown. In contrast to the embodiment shown here, however, the walls 36, 38 of the U-shaped profile body 32 could also extend almost into the mouth region of the U-profile 22.
  • the U-shaped profile body 32 is made of a lightweight plastic material which has sufficient compressive strength.
  • the weight of the glass sheet 18 is 32 only slightly larger by the pushed onto it U-shaped profile body.
  • undercut 50, 52 On the inside of the two legs 24, 26 of the U-profile 22 in the present example case-an undercut 50, 52 is present.
  • the two undercuts 50, 52 are arranged in the mouth region of the U-profile 22 and are in the present example at the same height.
  • one of the two undercuts 50, 52 could also be arranged slightly higher than the other of the two undercuts 50, 52.
  • the undercuts 50, 52 serve as a holding device for each spacer.
  • a spacers 54 designed as a spacer member is fixed in the present example.
  • the spacer 54 has a constant wall thickness and has a hook formation 56 in its upper area. With this hook training 56, the spacer 54 can be hooked to the undercut 52 and be positioned so securely on the outer leg 26.
  • the spacer 54 does not extend down to the wall 38 of the U-shaped profile body 32, but is held at a predetermined distance from the bottom 28 of the U-profile 22.
  • the spacer 54 has a groove 58 in the present example case.
  • the spring 60 of a cover 62 can be used.
  • the cover profile 62 can be positively secured to the spacer 54 and supported on this.
  • the cover profile 62 ensures a visually appealing conclusion of the upper mouth region of the U-profile 22 and can prevent the ingress of moisture, for example by rain, in the U-profile 22.
  • the spacer 54 could also be integrally connected to the cover profile 62.
  • a two-piece spacer 70 is attached.
  • the first part 72 of this spacer 70 has a hook formation 74, with which this part 72 can be attached to the undercut 50.
  • the wall thickness of the first part 72 of the spacer 70 increases downwards - away from the hook formation 74 - to, so that there is a wedge-shaped cross-section.
  • a wedge-shaped second part 76 of the spacer 70 can be inserted. By positioning this wedge-shaped part 76 at different depths, the glass pane 18 can be aligned.
  • the first part 72 of the spacer 70 also has a groove 78. In this groove 78, the spring 60 of the cover profile 62 can be inserted so that a cover profile 60 can be positioned on the spacer member 70.
  • the U-shaped profile body 32 When mounting the glass sheet railing 10, the U-shaped profile body 32 is first inserted into the U-profile 22 from above. In the U-shaped profile body 32, the glass sheet 18 is inserted. Subsequently, the spacer 54 is at the outer rear-cutting 52 attached. The glass sheet 18 may now be pressed slightly against the spacer 54 to secure the first portion 72 of the two-piece spacer 70 to the inner undercut 50. Subsequently, the glass sheet 18 is aligned by inserting the wedge-shaped second part 76 of the spacer 70 in the U-profile 22 at different depths. In the last step, a cover profile 62 is in each case mounted in the mouth region of the U-profile 22, in order to ensure a visually appealing conclusion.
  • the surface of the first part 72 of the spacer 70 facing the wedge-shaped part 76 is designed to be jagged. Due to the serrated surfaces, the first part 72 and the second part 76 of the spacer 70 engage with each other, so that unintentional slipping out of the second part 76 can be prevented.
  • FIG Fig. 3 A second embodiment of a glass sheet railing 10.3 is shown in FIG Fig. 3 shown.
  • the spacer 54.3 of the glass sheet railing 10.3 is formed without the groove 58. Instead, the hook formation 56.3 is somewhat flatter, so that the spring 60.3 of the cover profile 62.3 can be inserted into a groove existing between the undercut 52 and the spacer 54.3. Again, the spacer 54.3 could be integral with the cover 62.3 available.
  • the first part 82 of this spacer member 80 is approximately V-shaped and has an upwardly pointing approximately vertical slot 84.
  • a wedge-shaped second part 88 of the spacer 80 can be inserted into the slot 84 of the V-shaped part 82 from above, whereby the two Wall portions 90, 92 of the V-shaped member 82 are pressed apart.
  • the glass pane 18 can be aligned.
  • the wall portions 90, 92 of the V-shaped portion 82 formed serrated on its inner side.
  • the wedge-shaped second part 88 has correspondingly two jagged outer walls, so that unintentional slipping out of the second part 88 can be prevented.
  • an altered U-profile 22.5 is used.
  • the outer, left leg 26 of the U-section 22.5 is unchanged from the U-section 22 according to the Fig. 1 and 3 in front.
  • a wedge-shaped projection 102 is integrally formed on the inside of the leg 24.5 at the upper edge region below a groove 100.
  • the spring 60.3 of the cover 62.3 can be used.
  • the leg 24.5 thus has a wall thickness which tapers upwards away from the bottom 28 of the U-profile 22.5.
  • a wedge-shaped spacer member 104 can be inserted between the wall region of the wedge-shaped projection 102 and the glass pane 18. By positioning the wedge-shaped spacer 104 at different depths, the glass pane 18 can be aligned.
  • the wedge-shaped projection 102 of the U-profile 22.5 itself acts as a holding device for the spacer member 104.
  • the inner wall portion of the wedge-shaped projection 102, as well as the wall of the wedge-shaped spacer 104 directed toward this wall region, are designed to be jagged in order to prevent unintentional slipping out of the wedge-shaped spacer 104.
