Abstract

L'invention concerne une unité réfractaire destinée à un obturateur à tiroir situé sur la busette de coulée d'un contenant pour métal en fusion. Cette unité réfractaire comporte une pierre réfractaire formant adaptateur (21) pouvant être installée sur la busette de coulée, et une plaque de fond réfractaire (10) adjacente audit adaptateur, une plaque coulissante réfractaire mobile (18) pouvant être reliée à la plaque de fond (10). La plaque réfractaire mobile (18) permet d'ouvrir ou de fermer l'obturateur à tiroir (1). Une seconde plaque de fond (12) est contiguë à la première plaque de fond (10) qui est adjacente à l'adaptateur (21). La seconde plaque de fond (12) peut être insérée sous l'adaptateur (21) en vue du remplacement de la première plaque de fond. L'adaptateur (21) présente, dans la direction de la seconde plaque de fond (12), une longueur telle que la surface lisse inférieure dudit adaptateur (21) est en contact glissant avec la seconde plaque de fond (12).
