Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vertikalgießkokille zum Stranggießen von Metall mit einer kühlbaren Lauffläche (11) und einem Führungsmittel (12) für Metallschmelze umfassend ein feuerfestes Material, wobei das Führungsmittel (12) der Lauffläche (11) in Strömungsrichtung vorgeordnet und radial vorgespannt und mit einem Halteelement (13), insbesondere einem Haltering, pressverbunden ist, wobei eine Außenumfangsfläche (14) des Führungsmittels (12) und eine Innenumfangsfläche (15) des Halteelements (13) jeweils zylindrisch ausgebildet sind und das Führungsmittel (12) eine Warmhaube umfasst, die einen axialen Strömungskanal bildet und einen Innenring aus feuerfestem Material aufweist, der durch einen an seinem Außenumfang angeordneten Schrumpfring radial vorgespannt ist.
