Lors de la pression du plateau serpillière sur la serpillière reposant sur une surface inférieure plane sans contre-pièce, présente spécialement pour cela, en regard de la bande Velcro, cette serpillière est posée sur le plateau serpillière sans l'aide des mains et est également maintenue solidement sur le plateau serpillière lorsque l'on passe la serpillière d'avant en arrière et de droite à gauche. Un tel plateau serpillière procure un énorme gain en confort et entraîne une réduction considérable de matière et par conséquent également des coûts. Toute la surface de la serpillière est employée efficacement à sa fonction véritable de nettoyage et on peut jeter la serpillière sans qu'il ne reste des parties propres.
