Abstract

Vorgestellt wird ein schwimmfähiges Tau bestehend aus mindestens zwei Strängen, wobei jeder Strang Synthesefasern umfasst, wobei das Tau dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Synthesefasern eine Komponente A) und eine Komponente B) umfassen, wobei A) mindestens ein Monofilament ist und B) mindestens ein Multifilamentgarn ist, dessen Filamente Hohlfaser-Filamente sind.

Description

Schwimmfähiges Tau
Beschreibung:
Die Erfindung betrifft ein schwimmfähiges Tau, d.h. ein Tau, das auf dem Wasser schwimmt.
Solche Taue sind bekannt. JP 2000-303254 und JP 2003-055836 beschreiben jeweils ein schwimmfähiges Tau aus Hohlfasern aus einem thermoplastischen Polymer, z.B. aus Nylon 6, mit einem Anteil des Hohlvolumens am Faservolumen von 10 bis 35 %, wobei die Hohlfasern mindestens zwei Lumina aufweisen.
WO 2009/026215 beschreibt ein Hybrid-Garn aus einer oder mehreren Polyolefin- fasern und einer oder mehreren Verstärkungsfasern. Das Hybrid-Garn kann u.a. zur Bildung faserhaltiger Strukturen einschließlich geflochtener Taue eingesetzt werden.
Daher stellt sich die vorliegende Erfindung die Aufgabe, ein weiteres schwimmfähiges Tau zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst durch ein schwimmfähiges Tau bestehend aus mindestens zwei Strängen, wobei jeder Strang Synthesefasern umfasst, und vorzugsweise jeder Strang aus Synthesefasern besteht, wobei das Tau dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Synthesefasern eine Komponente A) und eine Komponente B) umfassen, wobei A) mindestens ein Monofilament ist und B) mindestens ein Multifilamentgarn ist, dessen Filamente Hohlfaser-Filamente sind.
Überraschenderweise wurde gefunden, dass dadurch, dass die Synthesefasern in jedem Strang des erfindungsgemäßen Taus eine Komponente A) und eine Korn- ponente B) umfassen, wobei A) mindestens ein Monofilament ist und B) mindestens ein Multifilamentgarn ist, dessen Filamente Hohlfasern sind, schwimmfähige Taue hergestellt werden können, die im Vergleich zu Tauen, die zu 100 % aus Multifilamentgarn bestehen, eine deutlich stabilere Seilquerschnittsform aufweisen. Die deutlich stabilere Seilquerschnittsform des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus hat zur Folge, dass das erfindungsgemäße schwimmfähige Tau im Vergleich zu einem schwimmfähigen Tau ohne Komponente A) die folgenden technischen Vorteile aufweist:
- Ein gleichmäßiges Bewickeln von Winden bzw. von Winschen auf Schiffen wird sicher möglich und der Maximaldurchmesser der Winden wird bei voller Bewicklung nicht überschritten.
- Ein Unterziehen von Seilsegmenten beim Aufwickeln (z.B. auf Winschen) wird entweder ganz vermieden oder zumindest deutlich reduziert. Die Vermeidung oder zumindest die deutliche Reduzierung des Unterziehens ist eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für ein gleichmäßiges Ablaufen des Seils von der Winde, wodurch die Verletzungsgefahr von Personen durch schlagartig freigegebene untergezogene Seilsegmente vermieden oder zumindest deutlich reduziert wird.
- Der Reibungswiderstand beim Führen des Taus über Leitorgane, wie z.B.
Klüsen, wird durch die vergleichsweise niedrige Auflagefläche des Taus auf den Leitorganen reduziert, wodurch das vom Monofilament umgebene Kernmaterial vor Beschädigung durch Abrieb geschützt wird.
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus besteht das Tau aus 3 bis 36 Strängen.
In einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus besteht das Tau aus 6 bis 18 Strängen.
In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus enthält das Tau 2 bis 648 Monofilamente. In einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus enthält das Tau 3 bis 54 Monofilamente.
Wenn das erfindungsgemäße schwimmfähige Tau beispielsweise aus 36 Strängen besteht, kann jeder der 36 Stränge jeweils 18 Monofilamente enthalten.
Wenn das erfindungsgemäße schwimmfähige Tau beispielsweise aus 6 Strängen besteht, kann jeder der 6 Stränge jeweils 9 Monofilamente enthalten.
Im erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Tau bilden die Komponente A) und die Komponente B) ein Gewichtsverhältnis A) : B), wobei A) : B) vorzugsweise im Bereich von 20 : 80 bis 80 : 20, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 30 : 70 bis 70 : 30 und ganz besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 35 : 65 bis 65 : 35 liegt.
Das mindestens eine Monofilament der Komponente A) des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus kann grundsätzlich aus jedem Material bestehen, dass zur Herstellung eines Monofilaments geeignet ist. Vorzugsweise besteht das mindestens eine Monofilament aus einem faserbildenden Polymeren, das ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe der Polyamide, Polyester, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Poly- milchsäuren und Polyphenylensulfide.
Die Hohlfaser-Filamente des mindestens einen Multifilamentgarns der Komponente B) des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus können grundsätzlich aus jedem Material bestehen, dass zur Herstellung von Hohlfaser-Filamenten geeignet ist. Vorzugsweise bestehen die Hohlfaser-Filamente des mindestens einen Multifilamentgarns aus einem faserbildenden Polymeren, das ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe der Polyamide, besonders bevorzugt aus der Gruppe der aliphatischen Polyamide (PA), wobei als aliphatisches Polyamid ganz besonders bevorzugt ein Polyamid 6 (PA 6), ein Polyamid 6.6 (PA 6.6) oder ein Polyamid 4.6 (PA 4.6) aus gewählt wird. Für das erfindungsgemäße schwimmfähige Tau wird mindestens ein Monofilament eingesetzt, das vorzugsweise einen Durchmesser im Bereich von 0,5 mm bis 7,0 mm, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 1 mm bis 6,0 mm und ganz besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 1 ,6 mm bis 5,0 mm aufweist.
Als Monofilament besonders geeignet ist das von der Fa. Perlon-Monofil GmbH, DE unter der Bezeichnung Atlas® Monofilament Type X 400 (Durchmesser z.B. 4 mm) erhältliche Monofilament.
Vorzugweise weist das mindestens eine Monofilament, das zur Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus eingesetzt wird, eine Reißfestigkeit im Bereich von 30 cN/tex bis 70 cN/tex, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 35 cN/tex bis 65 cN/tex und ganz besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 40 cN/tex bis 57 cN/tex auf.
In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus weist das mindestens eine Monofilament, das zur Herstellung des Taus eingesetzt wird, eine Reißdehnung im Bereich von 10 % bis 30 %, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 12 % bis 28 %, und ganz besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 14 % bis 24 % auf.
Vorzugsweise weisen die Hohlfaser-Filamente, die zur Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus eingesetzt werden, eine Bruchfestigkeit im Bereich von 43 cN/tex bis 80 cN/tex, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 53 cN/tex bis 70 cN/tex und ganz besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 57 cN/tex bis 66 cN/tex auf.
Vorzugsweise weisen die Hohlfaser-Filamente, die zur Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus eingesetzt werden, eine Bruchdehnung im Bereich von 9 % bis 35 %, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 14 % bis 30 % und ganz besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 19 % bis 25 % auf. Als Hohlfaser-Filamente besonders geeignet sind die von der Fa. Polyamide High Performance GmbH, DE unter der Bezeichnung Enkalon® 580 T erhältliche Hohl- faser-Multifilamente.
In einer bevorzugen Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen schwimmfähigen Taus weisen die Hohlfaser-Filamente bezogen auf die Gesamtquerschnittsfläche einen Lumenquerschnittsflächenanteil im Bereich von 5 bis 35 %, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 10 bis 30 % und ganz besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 15 bis 28 % auf.
In einer weiteren bevorzugen Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen
schwimmfähigen Taus besteht das Multifilamentgarn aus 2 bis 840 Hohlfasern, besonders bevorzugt aus 70 bis 350 Hohlfasern und ganz besonders bevorzugt aus 120 bis 300 Hohlfasern.
In einer weiteren bevorzugen Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen
schwimmfähigen Taus enthält das Tau zusätzlich zu dem mindestens einen Monofilament der Komponente A) und dem mindestens einen Multifilamentgarn B) eine Komponente C), die aus Füllgarnen besteht, d.h. aus Garnen, deren Durchmesser so gewählt wird, dass die Garne die von dem mindestens einen Monofilament und dem mindestens einen Multifilamentgarn gebildeten Zwischenräume ausfüllen. Vorzugsweise bestehen die Füllgarne aus einem Multifilamentgarn, dessen Filamente z.B. Fasern, vorzugsweise Hohlfasern sind, welche vorzugsweise aus einem Polyamid und besonders bevorzugt aus einem aliphatischen Polyamid wie z.B aus Polyamid 6 (PA 6), Polyamid 6.6 (PA 6.6) oder Polyamid 4.6 (PA 4.6) gesponnen wurden. Von den vorstehend genannten Polyamiden sind Polyamid 6 (PA 6) und Polyamid 6.6 (PA 6.6) ganz besonders bevorzugt.
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform besteht das erfindungsgemäße schwimmfähige Tau aus 6 Strängen, wobei - jeder Strang aus 9 Monofilamenten aus Polyamid 6 (PA 6) mit einem
Durchmesser im Bereich von 3 mm bis 4,75 mm und aus Multifilamentgarnen aus jeweils 150 bis 300 Hohlfasern aus Polyamid 6 (PA 6) besteht,
- jede Hohlfaser bezogen auf die Gesamtquerschnittsfläche einen
Lumenquerschnittsflächenanteil im Bereich von 16 % bis 35 % aufweist und
- das Tau ein Taugewicht aufweist und der Gewichtsanteil der Multifilamentgarne bezogen auf das Taugewicht 65 % beträgt.

Claims

Schwimmfähiges Tau Patentansprüche:
1 . Schwimmfähiges Tau bestehend aus mindestens zwei Strängen, wobei jeder Strang Synthesefasern umfasst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Synthesefasern eine Komponente A) und eine Komponente B) umfassen, wobei A) mindestens ein Monofilament ist und B) mindestens ein Multifila- mentgarn ist, dessen Filamente Hohlfaser-Filamente sind.
2. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Komponente A) und die Komponente B) ein Gewichtsverhältnis
A) : B) bilden, wobei A) : B) im Bereich von 20 : 80 bis 80 : 20 liegt.
3. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Monofilament aus einem faserbildenden Polymeren besteht, das ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe der Polyamide, Polyester, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polymilchsäuren und Polyphenylensulfide.
4. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hohlfaser-Filamente des Multifilament- garns aus einem faserbildenden Polymeren besteht, das ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe der Polyamide.
5. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Monofilament einen Durchmesser im Bereich von 0,5 mm bis 7,0 mm aufweist.
6. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Monofilament eine Reißdehnung im Bereich von 10 % bis 30 % aufweist.
7. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hohlfaser-Filamente eine Bruchfestigkeit im Bereich von 43 cN/tex bis 80 cN/tex aufweisen.
8. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hohlfaser-Filamente eine Bruchdehnung im Bereich von 9 % bis 35 % aufweisen.
9. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hohlfaser-Filamente bezogen auf die Gesamtquerschnittsfläche einen Lumenquerschnittsflächenanteil im
Bereich von 5 bis 35 % aufweisen.
10. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Multifilamentgarn aus 2 bis 840 Hohlfasern besteht. Schwimmfähiges Tau nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Tau aus 6 Strängen besteht, wobei
- jeder Strang aus 9 Monofilamenten aus Polyamid 6 (PA 6) mit einem Durchmesser im Bereich von 3 mm bis 4,75 mm und aus Multifilament- garnen aus jeweils 150 bis 300 Hohlfasern aus Polyamid 6 (PA 6) besteht,
- jede Hohlfaser bezogen auf die Gesamtquerschnittsfläche einen
Lumenquerschnittsflächenanteil im Bereich von 16 % bis 35 % aufweist und
- das Tau ein Taugewicht aufweist und der Gewichtsanteil der Multifila- mentgarne bezogen auf das Taugewicht 65 % beträgt.
