This has the effect that the flanges contact each other in a cylindrical area.
- Similar auxiliary openings may be distributed over the heat exchanger plate to enhance strength.
- the auxiliary openings 9 can be formed in the same tool as the bulges 2 and hollows 3. However, it is clear that the auxiliary openings 9 together with the flanges 11, 13, 14 can be formed in a separate tool.

- Fig. 5 shows a first solution to this problem, where the bottom plate 18 has a bulge 19 adapted to receive the flange 10 of a heat exchanger plate 1d next to the endplate 18. It can be seen that the bulge 19 has a depth which is larger than a hight of the flange 10 perpendicular to the plane of the heat exchanger plate 1d next to the endplate 18. In this case it is possible that the flange 10 is fully inserted into the bulge 19 without a necessity for deforming the flange 10.
- the bulge 19 not only receives the flange 10 of the heat exchanger plate 1d next to the endplate 18, but also the flange of the second heat exchanger plate le counted from the endplate 18.

Claims (14)
- Wärmetauscher, der einen Stapel von mehreren Paaren von Wärmetauscherplatten (1a, 1b, 1c) aufweist, die aus Metallblech gebildet sind, das ein dreidimensionales Strukturmuster aufweist, wobei ein erster Strömungsweg innerhalb der mehreren Paare definiert ist und ein zweiter Strömungsweg zwischen den Paaren definiert ist, wobei jede Platte mindestens eine Durchgangsöffnung (5-8) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mehrere Hilfsöffnungen (9) bereitgestellt sind, die eine Durchgangsöffnung (5, 6, 7, 8) in der Platte (1a, 1b, 1c) einkreisen, wobei jede Hilfsöffnung (9) einen erhöhten Rand (10) aufweist, der einen Flansch (11, 13, 14) bildet, wobei der Flansch (11, 13, 14) in einer Hilfsöffnung (9) einer benachbarten Platte (1b, 1c) eingesetzt ist.
- Wärmetauscher nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Flansch (11, 13) einer Hilfsöffnung (9) einer Platte (1a, 1b) mit dem Flansch (13, 14) einer Hilfsöffnung (9) einer benachbarten Platte (1b, 1c) verbunden ist.
- Wärmetauscher nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Flansche (11, 13, 14) von mehreren Hilfsöffnungen (9) einen Zylinder bilden und ein Stabilisierungselement (15) in dem Zylinder eingesetzt ist.
- Wärmetauscher nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens die äußersten Flansche (11, 14) mit dem Stabilisierungselement (15) verbunden sind.
- Wärmetauscher nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens eine Hilfsöffnung (9) in der Nähe der Durchgangsöffnung (5-8) angeordnet ist.
- Wärmetauscher nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Übergangsbereich zwischen dem Flansch (11, 13, 14) und der Platte (1a, 1b, 1c) abgerundet ist und der Flansch (11, 13) einer Platte (1a, 1b) den Flansch (13, 14) einer benachbarten Platte (1b, 1c) außerhalb des Übergangsbereichs berührt.
- Wärmetauscher nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Endplatte (18) bereitgestellt ist, die eine Ausbuchtung (19) aufweist, die dafür ausgelegt ist, einen Flansch (10) von mindestens einer Wärmetauscherplatte (1d) neben der Endplatte (18) aufzunehmen.
- Wärmetauscher nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ausbuchtung (19) eine Tiefe aufweist, wobei die Tiefe größer als eine Höhe der Flansche (10) senkrecht zu der Wärmetauscherplatte (1d) neben der Endplatte (18) ist.
- Wärmetauscher nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Flansch (10) einer Wärmetauscherplatte (1d) neben einer Endplatte (20), mindestens an seiner Spitze, parallel zu der Endplatte (20) verformt ist.
- Wärmetauscher nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Flansche (10) von mindestens zwei Wärmetauscherplatten (1d, 1e) neben der Endplatte (20), mindestens an ihren Spitzen, eine Schichtstruktur auf einer Innenfläche (21) der Endplatte (20) bilden.
- Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Wärmetauschers, der einen Stapel von Wärmetauscherplatten (1a, 1b, 1c) bildet, die aus Metallblech, das ein dreidimensionales Strukturmuster (2, 3) aufweist, gebildet sind, wobei ein erster Strömungsweg innerhalb der mehreren Paare definiert ist und ein zweiter Strömungsweg zwischen den Paaren definiert ist, wobei jede Platte mindestens eine Durchgangsöffnung (5-8) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mehrere Hilfsöffnungen (9), die erhöhte Ränder (10) aufweisen, in jeder der Platten gebildet sind und eine Durchgangsöffnung (5, 6, 7, 8) einkreisen, wobei der erhöhte Rand einen Flansch bildet, wobei der Flansch in einer Hilfsöffnung (9) einer benachbarten Platte (1b) eingesetzt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Flansche (11, 13, 14) miteinander verbunden werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 11 oder 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Stabilisierungselement (15) durch mehrere Hilfsöffnungen (9) hindurch eingesetzt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Stabilisierungselement (15) mindestens mit den Flanschen (11, 13) der äußersten Platten (1a, 1c) des Stapels von Wärmetauscherplatten verbunden wird.
